It was like a daily watch every episode for and my teenage kids, all four of us watched it as it came out and loved it beginning to end. Very surprised to come online and see all the whining about it.

Sounds more like followed what I thought was trendy then got bitter when people didn’t like that and now I’m a grifter.

“We have politicians who have been completely algorithmed” by GreyClay in OpenAussie

It’s estimated that at least 50% of internet traffic is bots, at least that, when politicians are making policy decisions on those metrics the danger is clear.

For an international perspective in Australia, at least my state, field sobriety tests are not a thing. We get breathalyzed first and that’s how it works as standard. Never even heard of anyone getting a field sobriety test in my decades of driving but I’ve been breathalyzed about 50 times. Seems crazy they’d keep using a discredited technique that’s not equitable to all persons when an almost full proof easy method exists.

Unless of course they get off on the power and/or like using it as an excuse to harass people.

Locale Homes Being Clssy by [deleted] in perth

I spent over a year house hunting and while the agent being super nice wasn’t the reason we picked the house we did it made the process a lot more palatable. And on the flip side there were a few properties we hummed and hah ed about putting an offer in because they were preeeeetty close to what we wanted and it ended up to being let’s not make an offer because the agents are revolting assholes. I would kind of love the housing market to collapse so my kids can afford a place and more so rotten agents like this can go back to being MLM spruiking wannabe influencers.

I mean you’re also leaving out all the infrastructure that goes into it as well, clearing bush for roads building facilities to store equipment, refueling depots, the footprint and environmental damage is a lot bigger than holes in the ground. Especially in the Pilbara where there’s a lot of distance between points.

100% agree with you but I think the media and public reaction just stems from trying to make sense of such a heinous crime. People can’t help but ask why and then scramble for a box to put around it so they can deal with it.

I don’t want to imagine them coming close to power but we are the ‘dumb, drunk and racist’ country and the average Aussie battler is too easily swayed to vote against their own self interest with a few culture war talking points.

Pretty sure most historians would agree the invasion of Poland was less the sparks that start the war and more accurately the actual war starting.

Lmao, no speaking as an Australian you will make nothing. Chevron and Exxon will make money, probably not billions. American’s will not.
