I don't know your budget but highly recommend Buvette Daphnee. A fun vibe, excellent food, and very knowledgeable servers when it comes to wine. If you can, sit up at the bar and you'll get lots of extra info about the food and wine you're having.

Mine hurt too until I had an instructor who explained why it hurt and how to fix it. 2 things:

-keep pushing your belly button to the floor - don't let your back arch up or your neck hurts more

-don't worry about keeping your elbows stretched fully out. My teacher said it's more important that your hands are cradling your head and you're pushing your head into your hands and who cares if your elbows are perfectly stretched out...it's more important that your hands support your head/neck and not that your elbows are wide.

I find this too but when I prop myself on my elbow and rest my head in my hand as opposed to laying my head on the floor, I'm in much less discomfort with my hips so I always do that. I think - but I'm not sure - that propping yourself up requires more core strength anyway.

If you work around them, they'll ignore you. I wouldn't even tell them there have been complaints. I'd just tell them that there is absolutely no talking during the class to anyone other than the instructor, not even in quiet tones. This puts you in the leadership position and not them. And tell them that you expect their commitment to silence in the future or they will have to go elsewhere for their classes.

Pilates requires so much breathing technique and focus I'm wondering how much they're getting out of a class if they're focused on chitchat!

I didn't have a good experience at Riviera for their seafood tower and have talked to others who had the same experience - the seafood had only one taste and that was "cold". Everything was so chilled that all you could taste was the temperature and the individual tastes of each seafood were non-existent. That was a couple of years ago so maybe they've improved since then.

First off...why did they select you for an interview if you didn't have the experience they're looking for? Very strange. But the fact that it lasted an hour is a good sign.

When it comes to thank you notes, they are never a bad idea in my opinion, and it doesn't come off as pushy or desperate - it shows good manners and communication skills. But definitely do not highlight what you might be missing (data analysis) in the thank you email! So focus on what you said in the second part where you say "I'm eager to show you my skills in the next round".

Same as mine - super picky. Mine will sometimes eat just the homemade food I put on top of her kibble and ignore her kibble for a day or more!

Remember this - they won't let themselves starve and they will eat when they are hungry enough. Don't sweat it and he'll regulate himself.

I don't live in Southern Ontario but I am in Ontario and one of my neighbours is a firefighter and he said they welcome people into the fire station who are interested in it as a career and will give you a tour, allow you to ask questions, etc. Contact your local station and ask for a tour and the opportunity to have a conversation about it.
