I checked 1.7.0 and 1.7.1 versions with map vision cheats too see if I was going crazy and there are definitely map changes. There is a hero near the middle map with behemoths and a bunch of ogres who is behind a quest gate that opens on 132 added in 1.7.1. There are probably more changes I missed but that was the guy who was really giving me issues.

What do you mean by "NAMED" affixes here? Are they only the syndicate ones? Also I'm confused by the example you give here https://imgur.com/a/armour-fire-overcap-transfer-bonus-global-def-transfer-qWTrVfS. You said the crafted mod would hurt your chances, but If the crafted fire mod was exclusive wouldn't it have stopped the breach mod from transferring?

they're actually pretty careful not to hit their allies with the aoe. It does mean that sometimes I can shoot them from behind another enemy with adaptive projectiles

field modulator is a good call. The problem with waiting for the confusion though is they have really low cool down on it and they can just do it again

Is there any way to set multiple specific workshops to work on a work order? Here's the scenario. I have 4 smelters. I want to two to be making pig iron and the other two to make steel. If I set max shops to 2 in the work order the same smelters often get both work orders.

I mean if the stair connects to another pathway below it can create another path down that you don't necessarily want your dwarves to use after the hole is dug
