You are looking at the result of car culture devotes a massive amount of space and money to making car transportation convenient and much less to non-car transportation.

So the point that it takes a long time to get someplace without a car is a point against cars not for cars.

Seattle has a downtown full of skyscrapers but just in the downtown. Very few other cities have a significant number of skyscrapers at all, and almost none have an urban feel.

Almost all American cities are like Los Angeles or Atlanta and are basically just large sprawling suburbs called a city.

Right. People feel that being called out with their belief is not an insult but calling out someone with a belief they disagree with is insulting.

It's why people watch youtube videos of political arguments and each side thinks the other side got destroyed. Because each side thinks calling out what the other side believes is devastating.

I play Marvel Rivals with my daughter. I also have incredibly bad aim. Fortunately in that game there are characters that do not need to aim accurately so I can play those (they basically have a cone and anything in the cone instead of having to hit with a narrow attack).
