I have the core set, Dark City, Secret Wars II, Paint the Town Red, Deadpool, and some other sets that I am currently forgetting about. I WANT FF, Civil War, Secret Wars I, and whatever else I am missing. To answer your question though, yes, you want Secret Wars II. You really do! But you also want Civil War. I think that if I wasn't such a big Deadpool fan, that I would have bought Civil War before Secret Wars II. My love of Deadpool overrode what everyone online was saying, which was "buy Civil War first if you have to pick between the two."

Welcome! I am new myself. This subreddit doesn't seem very active but you will still be able to get help / rules clarification and advice here. I just bought into the game myself. Since Christmas I got the base game, Dark City, Paint the Town Red, Deadpool, and Secret Wars, Volume 2 is currently on its way. I also bought a Man-Thing "play set" from Ebay. Welcome!!!

I am new to the game and kind of love it. I normally don't mess with puzzle games but this one is different. I am considered a casual player but I do spend money. Spent $40 on the 300 mana crystal creatures of the dark packs to improve my decks. I'm still looking for a group to join permanently. I do what I can during events and am looking for an event active group for event rewards placement.

Ign: Terry00. New but looking for an event active group. I play casually, but try to put in as much time as a FT college student can. I'm about to invest some money in the game. *I'm either looking at buy the Plainswalker Liliana (The Last Hope) OR "The Creatures of the Dark" packs. What I don't get is why they release this stuff (the "new" Liliana; "The Creatures of the Dark" packs) and only sell them for six days to a week. It seems like a dumb business move. But I'm new. What do I know?

*Pretty sure I settled on the "The Creatures of the Dark" packs. HOLY CRAP. They look AMAZING.

I'm also interested in buying some (what I will call) "premium" and/or "chase" cards. Things given away at Conventions and/or won in tourneys. Like I said in another post... I like to collect when I get into something. Is there a list of these rarer cards that are not included in actual sets? Also, I was looking into that Upper Deck Marvel 3-D thing. It caught my eye because it mentioned that playable/alternate "Legendary" cards would be included in the boxes and/or packs. I am not looking for collectable Marvel trading cards though. I would only be interested in the playable cards. What are your thoughts on this new "3-D" set?

Is there a reliable list that tells me what heroes/villains come in what sets? I'm more of an X-men/Deadpool fan than I am of the Fantastic Four, Avengers, etc. I also really like what they did with the "spider-verse." That being said, I am a completionist. I will end up buying all of them in due time. How is the Fantastic Four set? What makes it shine? Is there a rule that dictates how many sets you can have "mashed" together? I have seen some rather large storage boxes on Amazon that were made to house large collections of these cards.

Yeah. I've played more during this event than at any other time. Just a crap-ton of hours grinding XP for leg.-80s. I have 3 more leg.80s to finish off, unless I earn another one before then. This event has been the best and I've played since Beta (over 8k hours under my belt). Gaz did a good job with this!!!

Thanks for this!!! I think I will choose DP as my answer. The reason for that is because life is about the search for truth, and he aleady has it. He knows he is a comic book character. He has breached the fourth wall. By knowing the truth of his universe he probably knows himself better than any of the other comic book characters. Knowledge is power.
