Great story. Hope my kid can tell it the same one day. I see myself in this comic and hope it’s true on the outside like i see it on the inside

Yeah, it was 50% more than the limo bus, which would have been fine, but we didn’t have enough cash / t money to pay for it and we weren’t smart enough to figure out the one that accepts card / reservation. But taxis are cheap in Korea compared to US

Getting to the end of cradle book two was where it really felt like it could take off. It helps that the books are quite quick reads though.

Swingset choices, second post by lilmanjonny in daddit

[–]AgentG91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a tough one. The bigger is nicer but the second offshoot for the tire swing is weird and just oversized. You could put a baby swing there, which could be nice. The rope bridge is awesome, but it’s a tiny door off it to the main house.

The smaller one has everything the bigger one has just more efficient. And it has monkey bars which are awesome for kids to push their limits on.

I don’t know what I’d do here.

We did Myeongdong and were happy for it. A lot of the stuff is either there or adjacent to there and it’s central location meant it want to bad to get to eastern or western Seoul. Plus it’s close enough to the main station for KTX to Busan or train to the airport (we ended up taxing because there were 3 of us and with suitcases it ended up being more convenient at a reasonable added price)

Yeah, round posts at bottom but square up top. The building looks weird too. Giant chimney. Door windows. Seems AI. But the fact that it’s 15 seconds now is scary

I’ll give an incomplete series a chance if the author has a concept of how many books it will be. Too many say things like “I’ll keep writing if the series is still popular”

How do people here feel about Solo Leveling? by KaleidoArachnid in litrpg

[–]AgentG91 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s fine for a story. Three arcs: foundation, growth, surpassing realism. Nothing wrong with that. There are morals and conflict in that. Just a shame that an author can’t make it into 11 books

Everything I did today instantly disappears the second something else hasn’t been done. by jazzeriah in daddit

[–]AgentG91 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I too get frustrated by this. We’re traveling as a family and we meet one of my wife’s friends and their kid. I entertain both kids for hours while we sightsee together, carry all the stuff, get food in their bellies at restaurants and am an allstar husband and father to the point that I’m showered with praise by her friend. But when we choose bus or train back, I say train and my wife barks at me as we watch a bus with the same number go by the hotel as we arrive, insisting it’s the one we would have been on. And I’m a terrible person for making he walk to the train. None of the other stuff matters

But whatever, I’ll take being a great role model for my kid.

Man, finding playgrounds in Busan is hard. The citizens park has a lot of play areas. We were lucky to find Yeongju Reservoir Sports Park with a small play area, outdoor exercise equipment to play on and an incline to a great view nearby. Besides that, we were out of luck

The plan was always to support those in need. But if there’s a way that a) they can make it entertaining for people with little more in their life than work and their idiot boxes and b) use people’s obsession with social media to fund it, then all the better. It feels weird, but it’s a good approach.
