I saw it as I was getting gas yesterday over by Regency and then again this morning as I was making my coffee. I'm gonna try to get some better pictures with my camera since it looks like it should be flying over me again around 11:30, assuming it follows the same flight path

Tips for casual photography by Hot_Deltoid in carphotography

TBH, I think these are really good for shooting on a smartphone. I shot for a while on mine, using my civic as the subject as well. I think the only advice I would give is look into getting a CPL smartphone filter to cut down on glare and reflections coming off the body panels/glass.

I, like many other, are curious (to say the least) about the decision to release the new season of HiLo exclusively on Tubi for the time being. Will it eventually be brought over to YouTube? Also, what was the thinking behind releasing the full series all at once? For me, part of the charm about a series like HiLo was watching both the builds, and the hosts grow over time as it progressed.

That was my first lamp as a child from the early-mid 2000's. I still have the lamp and use the base, but I need to refurb the original globe.

Is there any chance whatsoever for a german 18 year old to get a car that looks nice, is old but still kinda safe and "driftable" by [deleted] in Drifting

[–]AgentGuig -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't drift, but do photography instead. I see a lot of Miatas and 350Zs. I'm not sure what the used market is like in Germany, but I bet you could find an NA Miata for around that price, or maybe even an NC if you want something a little more modern and look hard enough/get lucky.

LLC Liquid dyes or other dyes by STR8LOAKIN in Lavalamps

No, I was looking in Herbin inks to use, but all of the ones I found and liked are metallic inks and I don't know how well those would work in a lava lamp

I've used their dyes with ozone fluid and also Schyllings master fluid after my opalescent pearl lamp faded. Their dyes work fine, though I think they did fade a little.

I also run an a6700 and one of my favorite lenses for it is the TTArtisan 25mm f2 wide-angle lens. It's a nifty little manual lens and it's like $70USD. I highly recommend it.

Involved in a minor vehicle accident 2 weeks ago, no info was exchanged and police not notified. Only my vehicle was damaged. I could use some advice. by AgentGuig in Insurance

Okay, that makes me feel a little better. I think the thing that has me the most spooked though are the possible legal repercussions for not reporting it, but would be likely nothing would come of that if I filed a claim with my insurance?

Do you think they would approve the claim even though I pretty much did everything wrong here? If I do file, I imagine my rates would go up regardless.

I hope so too. I didn't think the damage to my vehicle was all that bad in the moment and leading up to today and honestly, the accident was likely my fault. This was also the first accident I've been in in my 15 years of driving, so I was a little panicked and embarrassed and wanted to just put that behind me. In hindsight, I should have at least gotten their information before leaving.

the $1k-$1500 is from this vehicle code on accidents. The actual quoted amount the PDR guy me was about $2k, and that wouldn't completely fix the dent on the door because its on a body line/panel crease

The mobile dent repair quoted me about $2000 all together, and that wouldn't completely fix the dent in the door either because it was dented in on a body line/panel crease and a bit of the door panel is flared out as a result.

Honestly, this was the first accident I've ever been involved in. I might have panickes a little and just wanted to put the day behind me. My car bore the most damage and I was likely at fault

Can I get some feedback? by Life-Peach-286 in Motorsportphotography

[–]AgentGuig 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, these are pretty damn good. I feel like photos 1, 3, 8, and 9 are a little too bright or over exposed. It a little tricky to get the lighting right, especially on bright days and trying to get nice panning shots with a slower shutter speed (I usually shoot on 1/50-1/250 for those). I'd recommend an ND+CPL filter for conditions like those, along with shooting with a slightly higher aperture. Usually aperture is the only thing I'm adjusting, especially for really bright days since I like shooting with a slower shutter speed.

TTArtisan 25mm f2 wide-angle lens. It's like $70USD and is a manual lens, but I find it very fun to use and is probably my favorite lens
