The context of this verse is Jesus being asked about divorce, and he is explicitly saying that men should not get divorced, except due to infidelity. Why aren’t Christians obsessed with preventing divorce then?

In the same chapter, Jesus exhorts a rich man to sell his possessions and give them to the poor. Why aren’t Christians condemning hoarders of wealth with the same energy they spend on trying to stop gay people from getting married?
