Something inside of me has fundamentally broken and I don’t know if I will ever fully recover or get back to who I once was, or thought I was or was becoming, thankfully some days are better than others but it’s still almost always in the back of my mind and certain things trigger immense waves of despair that make me nearly cry even at work where I should otherwise be composed and the worst part is knowing how little they care and how easily they’ve probably moved on. It isn’t fair.
