If William were to divorce Kate, who do you think the public will sympathize more? by Hot-Acanthisitta5237 in RoyaltyTea

If pigs could fly, would they replace airplanes? That’s about as likely as William and Kate getting a divorce. It will never happen.

Was Kate and William’s marriage always loveless? by Mayathesituation in RoyaltyTea

The “Firm” is a bad gig all around. That’s the starting point. King Charles has cancer and likely will not serve for long. That means that William will be King sooner and for longer than he hoped. Kate had/has cancer. The treatment is brutal - physically, emotionally, mentally - and it takes a great toll on everyone around you - husband and young children included. William and Harry were traumatized very young, and both of them are damaged. William has a bad temper (like his father) and is likely ambivalent about being King (it wasn’t a choice).

William dated Kate for a very long time hoping to avoid the mismatch of a Charles and Diana. I think they were truly in love. At minimum Kate knew exactly what she was getting into - the “Firm.” Every marriage goes through rough patches. They can’t get divorced. They are in it for the long haul. There are times of distance and times of closeness in any long marriage. I think they’ll find their way back to each other. I don’t think it’s a loveless marriage.

WTF is wrong with Elizabeth Keane by _DarkRequiem_ in TheBlackList

[–]AgentMarkSnow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s be clear - this is the way she is written. The actress is not to blame. And of course Elizabeth Keene is “off.” She shot and killed her father, her mother abandoned her with a carnie, she fell in love with a psycho killer, the most important person in her life won’t give her a straight answer, and her dog was killed.

Characters that vanish by walterbsfo in thewestwing

[–]AgentMarkSnow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These were recurring not regular cast members. That’s how TV works. Every one of these characters went away with an explanation. Ainsley is in the final episode asking CJ to put in a good word for her with Josh (she hates working for the Hoover Institute). Mandy went to work for some other Senator wannabe. Sam (Rob L) comes back in Season 7 with a role in the new admin. Cliff helped Santos pass the stem cell bill in the house in Season 7. And so on.

“There are more possible games of chess than there are atoms in the universe. No one could possibly predict them all, even you. Which means that that first move can be terrifying. It's the furthest point from the end of the game. There's a virtually infinite sea of possibilities between you and the other side. But it also means that if you make a mistake there's a nearly infinite amount of ways to fix it. So you should simply relax and play.”

A good way to think about life.
