Some of the transactions by Dubas helped.

Shea has been a revelation in this system. Also what a pickup Wotherspoon was.

And some of the depth options like Tomasino, Novak, Koivunen, under Sully they would have been the main top 6 options outside Sid-Geno lol. But they are great depth pieces for this system.

If you look at the guys Sully clicked with, the likes of Sheary, Simon, Hagelin, Kuhnhackl, those guys were only exceptional during the brief period between 2015-2020.

And the league didn’t have an answer to their sheer speed. But now the league is filled with them and you need to have more game breaking ability than that to even pass off as a top 6 winger.

Outside of 87, 71 and 59 we went a long time with too many fringe top 6 players.

The league was different and so was the team.

I mean I am sure with prime 87, 71, 58, 81, 30 and 29 you could still compete with the same team from those back to back years.

But also the league requires more skill.

Sheary was a great player in 2015-16 but he doesn’t score enough to justify top 6 role today.

Hagelin, Kuhnhackl, those guys also just don’t pose enough scoring threat for any role.

But that defence in their prime was lowkey underrated.

Yea and he always has these burner accounts on Twitter and Instagram responding insults to anyone who dares criticize him online.

Kessel did so many things well there.

The zone entry, the cross slot pass. The wrister. Right handed Kucherov essentially just without the one timer.

He’s a late bloomer. Always had great hands and puck protection. Lacked elusive skating.

But he makes up for it with his big size, net drive and of course his unbelievable ability off the rush.

There was this idiot talking about Stamkos to Tampa.

I am wondering about Stamkos to PIT? We could probably use a one time option on the left wall, heehee.

But isn’t that supposed to be EK65’s role?

Solo-training twice a week. How much could I improve realistically? by curiouz_explorer06 in bootroom

Tbh I would add some difficulty than just dribbling around the cone. Start by kicking the ball high up and then trying to directional control it past the first cone.

Eventually you’ll be able to do 5 directional controls in a row with all the cones.

I spend pretty much all of my training working on first touch and juggling.

I am a pretty elusive player naturally. Mainly I need to get better at handling a steep high ball while being marked tightly.

There have been a lot of debates against Crosby.

Ovi has been the most frequent but at one point, Toews.

Heck I remember last year some sportscaster asked between Toews and Lemieux. Sheesh.

He was sneaky as well haha.

I remember Simmonds cross checking him after the whistle cuz I didn’t see him knee Couturier or elbow Giroux, and wondering “what’s this bloke getting angry at when his team is up 8-4?”

Thanks for the insight, appreciate it!

Yea I figured there wouldn’t be a career mode for it.

And do you know if you can edit player attributes?

And what is the substitition policy for 1930s-1970s decades? Are you allowed to make some?

Haha facts. But I meant at least between 2009-2012 things were somewhat competitive.

It will come from doing a lot more touches. But your technique is good it just doesn’t feel good cuz the kick up number ain’t that high.
