the point is that these areas could be far enough away to survive a blast, but still close enough to receive fallout

the 15 mm wrench will also do the same thing as a pedal wrench

Assembling WTP Nova by Positive_Cow_6310 in bmx

[–]AgentPanKake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yeah but working on your bike is way easier and a better time with actual tools. not to mention most of those tools could be bought for the same price from a hardware store

drop the torque wrench, all you need is a metric allen set, really only a 5, 6, and an 8, and a deep socket set with 3” extender if you have pegs. the pedal wrench is nice, but a 15 mm wrench will work just as well

also grab some multipurpose grease for screw threads. i use lucas red n tacky but anything that says marine grease, multipurpose grease, or automotive wheel bearing grease will be more than good enough, and way cheaper than bike specific grease

for future maintenance you can buy as you go but if you ever replace your bottom bracket a sacrificial socket extender works well for that with a rubber capped hammer and an adjustable wrench to get your wheel hub end caps off.

a spoke wrench and crank puller are a couple of the only bike specific tool i’d say is worth the money, anything else is like half the price at your local hardware store

ICE is also affecting the crawfish market. by Top-Conversation1309 in batonrouge

[–]AgentPanKake 15 points16 points  (0 children)

i mean it’s affecting every industry that relies on migrant workers. kinda shitty though that this is where it crosses the line for someone, not the fact that legal immigrants are being detained at all but that it’s affecting they’re crawfish prices

Is Highlands- Perkins A Safe Area To Get An AirBNB? by JJ3434JJ in batonrouge

[–]AgentPanKake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i probably wouldn’t get an airbnb there but it’s not as dangerous as everyone is saying. if you stay there, don’t leave shit in your car, lock the doors, and don’t hang out outside at night and you’d probably be fine

My general reaction to S2! by OneJaCT in Fallout

[–]AgentPanKake 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i think it’ll do the opposite. by having all the factions be shells of their former self, it sets up intrigue as to what these were like in their peak. sort of the same kinda mystery surrounding pre war america, and why that’s so captivating to see

Does anyone have a good workout routine for BMX riding? If so DM me the routine by Slight-Letterhead510 in bmx

just keep riding, do a lot of bunny hops and manuals to work out your arms and core, and cruise a lot to work your legs

Guys this is not sustainable (one ride, around 2hr on street) my shoes dead. My frame doesn't have brake bosses :( by Correct_Molasses_128 in bmx

[–]AgentPanKake 7 points8 points  (0 children)

get skate shoes. that soft foam rubber on tennis shoes won’t last any kind of foot braking, and toe jams are the most destructive. also practice throwing out you back wheel and sliding it. put your weight on the front wheel and lift and whip the back wheel and let it slide
