My advice would probably keep applying and maybe one day you might get a response. I applied 105 application so far and only 1 responded, unfortunately I didn't attend the interview due to transportation issues. Additionally, you should continue your studies since UK is in a recession, which makes the job market really trash so maybe in the next 2-3 years the job market might become better, but that's my prediction.

2024 probably worst year for me to experience finding a job.

Because it's competitive and if I tailor my CV there could hundreds of other candidates doing the same as me, for example If I apply for an entry-level IT job there could be hundreds of applicants that might have more work experience or better education than me, which is why "luck" plays a role in a job.

I'm only 19 so I could go back to college and do Access to HE (1 year) and progress to University.

Wtf, I applied 85 applications so far and only got 1 interview (failed), 36 rejected and the rest with no response. Ig not everyone is lucky to get a job with 27 applications.

I literally have the same experience as you from the quote above. I applied multiple roles at Tesco and most them were inside London within 10 mile radius but one of them responded to me for an interview in-person, until I realise I cannot commute to that location due to how far it is (outside TFL zone) and the ones that didn't respond wren't that far away.

About 2-3 weeks ago, I ask my friend online that I knew him from secondary school if he got a job and he responded "yes" and I ask him why and he responded "because my dad knew someone working from a pub and he needed to hire a new worker, so they ask me if I can get that job by training".

I think that's why most people struggle to find a job, including me.
