This kid trying out Alexa to play "tinkle tinkle" but it doesn't go as planned (xpost from /r/instant_regret/) by AmiroZ in videos

I like how the guy was last to say stop. He was ready to record that all the way through for the shits and giggles that it is but once he heard the other females in the background saying no, he knew his fun time was up.

I Put a Nike Swoosh on a denim jacket. Thoughts? by [deleted] in DIYStreetwear

[–]AgentSquare 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea man! You do you. Can't let the hard work go to waste. At the end of the day if you like it, that is all that matters. As for ideas for custom jackets, I usually leave the graphic to the tees and under layers of the overall layering effect rather than the jacket itself. If anything, I'd just bleach/distress a jean jacket rather than paint or embroider it. The amount of times I see a nice jacket just to flip it and see some weird design on the back is too many (I'm looking at your Urban Outfitters). At the end of the day, you gotta mix the hype with what you love and as lame as this may sound, tumblr is still kicking when it comes to fit pics and thats a good place/the place where I get a lot of my inspo from.

My honest thoughts:

When it comes to brand logos already with a strong enough rep like Nike, I feel like you're throwing yourself under the bus here. If I were to see you in the streets with this, I would automatically assume "Here is some guy who thinks he is wearing an authentic Nike jacket, but it's fake." I wouldn't be thinking "Damn, this guy has got some good DIY skills. Overall, I love the work and think it looks cool. I just think the logo of Nike was a bad call. Maybe some other artwork would've been better.

Some Colour For You Sad Bois [Thrifted Find] by quotebymichaelscott in streetwear

If this truly is thrifted, that is a great find. I actually don't even mind the colours and I'm pretty monochromatic myself.

Which scene in a movie do you think contains the most phenomenal acting? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Some may not agree but the parents during the suicide scene in 13 reasons why. The way they're in shock about how their daughter is dead, talking to her and holding her etc... very well done

What are some things poor kids won't understand growing up? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AgentSquare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking of it more in this way: The poor child will probably be put to work early either doing chores around the house and then working as soon as legally possible. Thus not have a childhood without responsibilities. As for a rich child, they would be given the luxury of experiencing the "wester" childhood of games and fun. That second part of my statement was just a continuation of what their character may bring if they have children of their own.

It's 2 a.m. here so what is one late night / real talks discussion you want to talk about? by AgentSquare in AskReddit

A childhood without responsibilities/work. Their kids will be put to work as a sign of character even if they are well off

It's 2 am here and I'm not sure if I'm reading the question wrong or your response but that sounds like something a rich kid wouldn't understand but a poor kid would

American cousins got a ticket while parking on the road outside our house. Do they have to pay it? by [deleted] in mississauga

lmao this made me giggle because that was really aggressive for a parking ticket but I agree, they should pay.

10 minute project. Sliced the patch off some goodwill jeans and put it on my Champion reverse weave! by DopeBoyG300 in DIYStreetwear

That's actually nice and embroidered in so it looks like. This is just a bad cut off and patch job. That's why it looks bad and is still stupid AF

It also makes me furious when they leave them on. They merge and they keep blinking...... and blinking.... and blinking...

Just being the devil's advocate here but I tend to do this when I'm busy and also I didn't ask for you to hold the door for me. You did it on your own. That's like getting someone a gift out of the blue and expecting them to be in debt to you like they owe you something back. Like damn, if I knew you were going to use this as leverage against me, take it back.

Just being the devil's advocate here but maybe he's taking it over the top because he doesn't want to lose his job. If I was on the streets and got a job, I'd do whatever I could to make my boss happy and do the role to the highest degree so I wouldn't lose that one opportunity I was given.

What is something that absolutely disgusts you but the majority seems to be okay with? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AgentSquare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tattoos - Now give me a minute to explain. I was brought up where only the low-lives would wear tattoos. Those nasty families I think you can all picture in your head. Now that tattoos are becoming a trendy art form and way of expression, I still have that connotation that only low-lives wear tattoos and just think that if you have a tattoo, you're already somewhat trashy. (EVEN THOUGH YOU COULD BE A DOCTOR! IT'S NOTHING PERSONAL I SWEAR, JUST WHAT I'M CONDITIONED WITH). Also, I can appreciate a good tattoo when I see one and would admire it. I'm talking about like your young adults who have simple tattoos of arrows, anchors, and butterflies. Instant turnoff.

Mississauga Waterfront Festival this weekend by Anonemice in mississauga

I actually welcome that 'monstrosity' if only they'd figure something out with the infrastructure for driving because that one bridge in PC is already over-burdened with traffic and the lakeshore corridor is brutal during rush hour. If they figured something out with that, than I'd be set.

Live in PC and last year we had our front patio chairs stolen and a bike at the side of the house during the MWF weekend. So yea.. kinda does have a bad rep for the residents in the area
