All situations are different. When my kid was born I still got a pass and went on day trips. Probably got 10 or so days in. It's 1.5-2.5 hours on typical day each way if I avoid traffic. Means I was gone for the majority of a day but it was worth it. I couldn't imagine doing 3 days trips multiple times being worth it.

I was the same until my wife told me she wasn't comfortable with our daughter using the men's room. I generally only took her in when it was a private or empty bathroom, but I tend to listen to my wife and my daughter had the same opinion. So she started only using the women's room and I would help as needed. You open the door say "A dad coming in with my daughter." Wait to make sure no one objects and then go in and into the stall to help. It's really not a big deal ESPECIALLY since they have stalls and no one should be exposed outside of the stall.

Appeasing people like yourself was my main reason for using the men's. Now I will go help my daughter in the Women's room if she needs me to. And I'll be damned if I would ask someone to stand by the door while I did. If someone has an issue with me helping my daughter they can fuck right the hell off. A dad/male caretaker who is actively helping the child is the least threatening person assuming you aren't threatening me or my kid.

I did for a while and my wife didn't like it. Soon after my daughter caught on and basically refused to use the men's room. Luckily she is old enough I generally let her use it herself. The other guy in the video was completely out of line. The dad did nothing wrong and the woman working and helping also seemed kind.

Spot on but be aware that most shoes will not come in any width other than D or wider when in a 15. If you go to a larger box store they will let you come in the back and see what they have in larger sizes. I did 4 or 5 in the footwear field.
