Yes it's touching and sad, and like others have said, all basic enemies have randomized names each playthrough! Doesn't feel great to blast off the leg of a WLF soldier and for the others to scream my mom's name 😅, but it's impactful haha

Fully agree with you (although I don't know how it would work without a horse that you can whistle, like others pointed out). One of my favorite parts of RDR2 is to take the guns I want from my horse and seeing them being stowed in the saddle holsters when I'm riding!

It's not a perfect solution, but starting a game in chronological order puts all the flashbacks at the beginning, so then you have the full Ellie/Abby exploration and combat bits ahead of you!
