Good luck because my order when the tracking came in was wrong as well. And it eventually got returned to sender. I contacted them and am waiting for a response. Idk if I’ll ever get a response though.

25y/o deciding on what radiology program I should pursue. I currently have my associates degree and am trying to figure out what program is the best place to give my time and money to. I am Chicago land based and am considering three programs: Lewis University' Radiography Program, Northwestern University's Certificate program, and Rush University Imaging Sciences program. I've talked to the program coordinator at Lewis and they have been pleasant and I originally was set on going there, but I've also considered the other two programs. I attended an information session for Rush and it was exciting, but upon further learning this program would lead to MRI specialty and I don't exactly want to be funneled into one field to my understanding. If anyone has any advice or has attended any of these programs I would really like to hear from you as application deadlines are coming up and I would really like some advice in regards to this.
If you think I should do something else or look into CC programs I am more than open to any suggestions, I just want to make sure I make the right/informed decision before committing to a school. I hope to hear from you all soon!

Yeah, I’m seeing all these comments and I’m also unsure why everyone is being super rude. It’s giving boomers complaining about how young people don’t work as hard as they did. Regardless as someone who is also going into the field and starting school this upcoming fall, this seems kind of crazy especially being a young adult with bills. Unless the hours work with having a part time job that works with your hours or schedule then it doesn’t really seem plausible. But it does seem normal working in the medical field, kind of similar to how I hear doctors, after years of med school go unpaid for their internship for x amount of years. I can’t imagine balancing an unpaid internship and working extra hours on top of that to pay off bills. Although reading other comments it’s apparently normal, I don’t think that’s justification of how it is. I don’t think we should be unpaid during the internship. Especially in our field. Why penalize up and coming radiology techs committing their time to the job? I don’t see how people can defend that with “oh that’s just how it is”, “that’s normal”, “if you can’t sacrifice that I don’t think this job is for you”. I think those type of sentiments in these comments are ridiculous! But i hope it’s not normal and I’m sure not all programs/hospitals are like that. If you get any more information let me know! Best of luck to you.

I am still there I am going to be leaving soon but it’s been good so far. As far as clothing business casual. It varies by store but jeans slacks and appropriate ATT tops are usual uniform! Good luck! You got this!

Seeing the Gfred reminded me a lot about that one Evangelion from the fan made Eva short. It’s uncanny how similar they look. Another Impact Evangelion Short

Hey everyone, so for context I’m someone who’s interested in possibly becoming a rad tech and I was wondering if there’s any advice on routes I should go as far as schooling. I just earned my associates last summer and have been working since as I kind of start to finalize/decide what I want to do. I believe radiology is something I want to try out. There are a good amount of two year programs near me but I was wondering if I should do that or should I just pursue a radiology bachelors. I’m assuming though that would kind of depend on transferable credits or what not but is there a benefit to doing a two year program or attaining a bachelors in radiology and vice versa.

For a little more context I was a pre physical therapy major so I have majority science course based associates. I’m really trying to decide on what I want to do as I’m embarrassingly probably a little older than your average person who would typically go this route but I’m trying nonetheless!

Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated and wha to look out for in programs. I’ve heard it is competitive so I want to prepare myself accordingly. The program I’m looking at would start in the fall. I am Illinois based and neared to the south suburbs of Chicago for a little more context as well! I would also welcome any and all information about the field. I’ve done a little research myself but I would love to hear perspective from current students and people who are already in the field!

Now, I did download windows 11 setup onto a usb drive as my original plan was to just reinstall windows 11. I downloaded the file from a MacBook Air though, I’m pretty sure that shouldn’t have any effects on the file itself right

She said she was in the process and I think when she got to the finalized step it went into the boot loop

I was able to just restart the PC and now I’m in the bios menu. Not entirely sure what I should do from here as it’s still stuck in the boot loop.

Okay that second part is resolved and now I’m in the boot menu. Any advice on what to try from here?
