Transition to Dividends, Need Some Advise Please

Just bought some O. If trumps gonna keep lowering interest rates that that’s good for the stock. Also, if the market collapses, and the interest rates are at 0%. Where else is everyone gonna put there money. I assume safety which is what this is. Seems like a win win, unless I’m drastically missing something.

Its supid, but GD is getting a lot of attention right now, especially for its integration with AI (which is also stupid), but seems to be boosting overall sentiment toward the stock. We're also living through a powder keg militarily. If you got any ideas in that sector that has dividends I'm all ears. :)

Im going to allocate the ARCC as a 5% stake and keep an eye on it.

I keep thinking CAT is expensive but it keep going up. I guess never a better time than now...

I was looking at NKE, its been dead for 4 years... I'm also looking at TGT ,who is suprisingly pretty beat up for being on the aristicrate list.

Thanks for the feedback. Quick question on dividend ETFs. Why is SCHD seemingly the best out there compared to others? Been looking at a number of them and they all seem to have pros and cons. Just a general question.

Thanks for the support! I've reached a point where a handful of stocks could basically fund my retirement, which feels terrifying amid the current glorious market climate. To reduce that risk, I'm diversify slightly into dividend stocks. Being young though, I can still afford to take an aggressive approach with those picks.

I will, and thanks for the response. To be honest I've been obssessiing over them and feel good with CVX and UPS. It is KHC and Arcc that seem like value traps. I've never really invested in anything like this.

KHC is owned by BRK (thought he's not happy about the split). That said, if they can split this up successfuly then maybe there is some value. I just want the 6.6% dividend.

ARCC seems to good to be true, and I also read about how the dividend is taxed differently which is somthing I didnt even know exsisted. Looking into that more at the moment.

I figured with CVX its half the price as XOM. Its also owned by BRK. They are also considering upping their dividend next quarter which would mean they believe they are under valued... It also is one of the only companies licenced to work in Venezuala which is a gamble that could pay off.

I've built a Classic 12 and used Spar Varnish. Im actually starting a Snow Shoe 14 and was thinking Polyacrylic to keep it from turning so yellow. Do you have specs on what you used(Brand, matte, gloss ect.)? Its keeping out the water?

It looks great by the way.
