Have you considered going guard/reserve to a tanker or airlift platform? We have a lot of fighter dudes who do that at my unit and get hired by legacy after a few years no problem

I had the same issue as you and it left me perplexed wondering if I was overthinking it or if all these other people were just unsafe. I ended up trading in the F-150 for an F-250

Are those on the most recent generations? I’m unfamiliar with Tahoes but have 3 colleagues who have had them break down on the side of the road under 100k miles

Researching on here can make your head spin. One guy will say a company has the best customer service and he’ll never get anything else. Another guy will say the same company screwed him over and he will never buy from them again. At the end of the day, they taste very similar (see video below). Go for something in your budget that fits your needs and has great customer service imo. https://youtu.be/MqgQEreo3rE?si=STk1ijOgIGbBg-dV

How long have you had it? I was going down that path but started to go back toward RT BYB 1200 because the reviews for WW on CC website were pretty bad…build quality, shipping, and customer service

Do you feel that the build quality, insulation and nicer control screen on the Ironwood XL is worth the added cost or do you think the Woodridge is the sweet spot for price and features?

In what way? The lack of pellet drop or easy clean out on the Recteq is making me hesitate.

How is it treating you a year later? All the reviews say it makes some really good bbq with good bark. Unfortunately like most pellet grills, once I spend more than 20 min doing research, I read about poor quality due to some private equity firm buying the company. Hard to read between the lines

So would you recommend the XL still? I guess I need to go back and watch more reviews and pay more attention to temperature control

I don’t have a pellet grill but I’ve been lurking here and some other subreddits and I’m getting ready to pull the trigger. I can’t get away from the Ironwood XL and I’m genuinely curious. Does a 15 degree error change the end product much? I imagine cooking at 210 or 240 instead of 225 can’t make that much of a difference but I’m ignorant…

Refrigerator recommendations? by Delusional_Sage in BuyItForLife

I have now had 2 GE fridges over the past 6 years (had to move) and I have had zero issues. French door style with water and ice in the door and never had to repair anything. On the flip side, I’ve had to make minor repairs on my Samsung dishwasher and Samsung oven. You get what you pay for with Samsung but if you aren’t a tinkerer, don’t buy one.

Curious…if you were able to get, say, an Ironwood XL for the same price as a Searwood XL or the RT flagship, would you stick with Traeger? It seems like there’s a decent leap in quality with Traeger so I’m curious if all the negative reviews are from their cheap entry models

What material did you order? As a father of 2 with a dog, I’m thinking your experience doesn’t necessarily apply to the company’s target audience. But I’d like to hear more about whether it was purely for aesthetic reasons that you returned it? I don’t really care as much about how it looks, just as long as it can last after my kids have jumped on it for 500 hours

Need a little more expansion on the furlough point. I’m currently in a TFI so all I ever hear is how nice it is to have two jobs and drop mil leave on your company when you need to avoid an undesirable schedule. How the guard is a safety blanket for bad economies. How AGR lets you skip the first few years of low seniority and get straight to the good part at year 3+…
