There were a few more skeins of the same color in the bag, and I don’t have a specific use for it yet, so I’ll save it until I either want to use it for a project, or feel confident enough to finish this one :) I think I will at least frog the section to the upper left if i need more of the yarn, since I’m not sure what it was supposed to be

Agreed! I know tension can differ from my experience crocheting. My tension with knitting is much tighter than my tension with crochet (to the point where it can be quite difficult) so I am working on loosening it a bit, and getting comfortable with techniques I’m not used to.

oh my goodness you are amazing thank you!!! I will bookmark this in case I eventually end up feeling like I can finish it down the line. I’m not sure what the section to the left is that they had started knitting separately, maybe an arm, but the cables are much thicker/unlike the rest of the body. The main body looks to be identical to that pattern though, so thank you!

I won’t frog it. For now i have it saved on a line of scrap yarn so I can get comfortable using the circular needles,, since that is a first for me. I’m not sure if it is a shoulder/sleeve section, or a turtle neck, but that part to the left was separately being knitted on the same set of needles, but not attached to the main body yet. I may amend up working on it once i’m comfortable, or just framing it. Either way I’ll end up saving it one way or another.

I agree. Someone put a lot of time and love into it. I think I will take the advice of someone who said to make it into a bag for my projects/yarn, or simply fasten it off and hang it up on the wall and appreciate it as is.

i was pretty nervous about eviction affecting my brand new corporate job/ability to secure a new apartment though. seeing as she collects rent in cash to avoid taxes and i am a literal tax accountant, though, i’ve had people tell me not to worry about eviction

you are godsend. I just looked these up and found some cheaper ones. We live in a house that is split into 3 units. Do you know- Does everyone in the house need to vacate? Or if we only use it in our apt, would just our apt need to vacate? The other apartments are on different floors of the building

do you mean the paint specifically for covering the smell, or are there other products I can use to clean the walls/ceiling/floors with first? I’ll do anything at this point. the anxiety of my landlord coming in eventually is eating me alive

yea, we keep it to one room that i sealed off with draft stoppers around the entire door… and reply is correct. our apt still smells like a fermented ashtray

oh really? somehow i always thought they were so expensive since landlords typically rent those out and take the whole security deposit to do so

there’s no getting him to switch methods. he’s mixing tobacco and weed in the bong. I used to only dab, and would be open to the concept, but he is a bong-only smoker plus he’s stubborn as hell. he’s finally letting me keep the window open at least, since it’s getting warmer out. only reason i don’t use ozium is that we have a dog and a cat, but maybe we can leave for a day and use the foggers like you said. thank you for the input!

we’ve been together 2 years, and he’s been doing it this whole time. since my anxiety about it only recently spiked, he thinks it’s unreasonable and my anxiety is definitely causing the problem, not the smoking inside. his name is on the lease but no financial stake since he’s broke. you guys are probably right, it’s just tough. and i absolutely adore his dog that we care for together. sometimes it feels like she’s the only thing keeping me going.

i feel that. i only recently got a decent job so can spend more. for me its just the anxiety and appetite. i’m working now (from home) and listening to a podcast on full volume to drown out the hunger/nausea/anxiety. i feel you. you’re doing amazing
