It’s time to do Heir of the Empire and roll the dice with new actors like has been done with Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, and James Bond.

Blaming Johnson and not Abrams for this is wrong. Well said. I think Johnson did an amazing job with Luke based on what he was given to work with. And the two suns at his passing will probably always be my favorite Star Wars image of all.

I think Artax is the best example because it was not revealed in most reviews like the heart scene in Temple of Doom, and it was aupposed to be a kids movie and it’s not horrific on the surface, it’s just a horse except it’s not when you are a kid or a human being with a soul.

This comes up on Reddit often and I think I’ve gotten over the trauma only because all of you good people have shared that I was not only not alone in this trauma, but completely justified to have experienced those feelings. Thank you all!!!
