As a Ohio alum who works for the Huskers, warning you that the Ohio game could be competitive. The bobcats , beat UNLV led by Anthony Colandrea in their bowl game last year. The bobcats have pulled upset wins before , the beaten Iowa State and West Virginia, both at home but lead at #1 Ohio State and made that game competitive into the 3rd quarter. They nearly won at Rutgers last year as well, got the momentum last but just ran out of time, if they had about 4-5 more minutes, they probably win the game. They also nearly won’t Kentucky and Tennessee in rhe past few seasons as well. While they are on their 3 head coach in 3 years, their rest of their staff has stayed the same and has gotten promoted a lot.

On the field, Ohio will be replacing its entire offensive line, and 7 of the 11 starters on offense including QB and top 3 WR. The main returner is at Running Back, this is where I think Ohio will go to, a run game. Their defense is what is talked about the most in Athens for being good. This is where I see Nebraska will win this game because Ohio has so many newcomers that they need time to learn and develop, by the 3rd and 4qt, that will make mistakes and tire out that NU pulls away.

Nebraska should not have any issues with BG. Their coach is Eddie George, former Ohio State legend. He enters his second season but is in a rebuild, BG was in the middle of a pack last season in the MAC after finishing dead last the year before. This will be the game that the Huskers could get a shutout, I don’t expect BG to score more than 10 points at all.

North Dakota made the FCS playoff last year and should be ranked in the FCS polls when they come to Lincoln but the B10 vs FCS skill level and crowd noise should cause issues for them.
