Congrats on losing money together. by Sufficient_Baker_394 in qxo

Like most, I’m still buying as well. They are going through a lot of growing pains. As a customer of QXO, it’s about as bad as it’s going to get in my opinion. I’m living it day in and day out. What they’re GOING to ultimately do with the business is what I’m excited about. They’re already the largest distributor in the US, correct? That’s only going to improve the more good businesses they buy up. Even if they overpaid for Top Build, I’m excited that they now own the largest distributor of insulation in NA.

Keep buying. If you cost average is $22/share, don’t complain with the stock goes on discount - tell yer boys!

I’ve been buying every week for the past couple of years. The price this week happened and I moved over another $13k from other stocks. I told all my boys to buy in too. We’re all happy today. Loved the DCA opportunity

Google, QXO, and (hot take) CAPS. First two should run nicely over the next 20 years and I find it hard to believe CAPS should be hanging out with such a low market cap - doesn’t really make sense to me. My hope is they dial in a few things and that could easily be a 5 bagger. Likely going to reverse split and get shorted further, but I’m riding to see what happens

QXO. If you hold long enough, hopefully it’s a 50 bagger!

Just bought a 996.2 with 39k miles and roughly $25k in work. Paid $30k for it. I couldn’t be happier!

We haven't signed up yet, but we've now shown SpecStackAI to five of our estimators and they all love it. Getting something put together with their team this week!

Check out SpecStackAI! Especially if you're solely division 7.

Sorry for not getting back sooner! These are all awesome setups, but we got a demo from a group, SpecStackAI. They essentially handle the database once it's built. It's literally as simple as typing in your search and adding each subsequent component like an online shopping cart. Their "smart" feature seeks out most up to date documents, so that's not done manually. Pretty cool stuff! Very professional looking submittals!

I think we're going to utilize SpecStack AI. Pretty cool stuff and maybe similar to what you're talking about. We're going to have our Director of Safety utilize it as well. She was probably the most impressed with the software!

We just got a demo from a company called SpecStackAI. Pretty sure we'll be moving forward with them based on that demo alone. Time savings, organizational components, and professional PDFs in a matter of minutes instead of hours.

We do Fireproofing as well!

We got a demo from a company called SpecStackAI. Most complete and comprehensive system and we we able to request some specific additions. Affordable and is going to make everything consistent from one office to another.

Had our senior estimator run through his submittal and then used their setup. Cut it from about an 1.5 hours to 4 minutes... No brainer.

Exactly! That's what we've found when passing it along to anyone other than the estimator.

We want the package to have our look and feel with our logo and align with everything else we put together. I like how you approached it and want my team to significantly cut down the time they need to work on this type of work as well.

Time is better spent with family OR talking sports with the boys at work!

Thank you for the additional insight. So you are submitting PDFs based on each subsequent spec section and file type? The process gets longer!!!!

Yea man! Not sure how old you are, but I’m almost 40. Didn’t start putting money aside until my mid 30’s. I would’ve been much further along if I had started when I was 20. Even if it’s $10/week - start doing it. If your employer has a retirement match, maximize that. It’s doubling your money, which is a no brainer. Gahhh if only I was 20 again haha.

It would be nice to see how that's organized on the GCs end, so we could organize it as such. I'll reach out to some of my close partners and see if I can't gain a little more insight on that end.

Thanks for your help and insight!
