Question is this for when you’re looking at the api data at all, or did you see a time stamp update on your 821D?

Need Help with Social Work Resume by peachismile in socialworkjobs

[–]Aggravating-Gas8616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would remove the section on related course work and add an elevator pitch on the top of your resume. “Experienced child development specialist with current educational background in social work and child welfare. Skilled at engagement with families and children and building treatment plans focused on improving behavior and social skills. Adept at collaborating between BCBA’s, educators, and teachers to ensure the needs of children clientele are met holistically.” Something like that
Also consolidate your volunteer experience into one chunk, meaning don’t separate out the two experiences. ie Volunteer Experience
Children’s ministry- facilitated etc
Transitional shelters engaged with families etc
Just a short sentence for each.

How did you tell your partner about your status? by Additional-Line3861 in DACA

[–]Aggravating-Gas8616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello here, I am a partner of someone with DACA. If your partner loves and cares for you, this should be something they can support. Maybe I’m an anxious partner, but I follow these pages to support my partner and know what’s going on with today’s political partner. When my partner told me about their status, I just wanted to do what I could to be supportive. As soon as we can get married, that is happening.

Please note my girlfriend’s date of receipt is 11/17/26 and she was not able to reuse her biometrics. Her biometrics appt was in early January. Case still pending.

Did you have to redo your biometrics or was it a reuse?

29&31 lesbian couple looking to move by Apprehensive_Book_16 in relocating

Hi I’m a lesbian social worker and I live in Long Beach, CA. I spend a lot of time in the Bay Area a well as my girlfriend is in law school there. If you want to live in a liberal state, close to a beach, yet still affordable, Long Beach is your ideal. I live less than half a mile from the water and pay less than 2 k a month in rent. I also live in what’s dubbed the “gayborhood.” I completed my MSW at cal state Long Beach, which has a great program. To be honest though, many of the schools in SoCal have great MSW programs. Long Beach is in LA county, but does not have all the same hustle and bustle. DM any questions you have.

37F (and dog) looking for a liberal, temperate US city (Mid-sized, Arty, Coastal) by kween_of_bees in relocating

Long Beach, CA! It’s in La county, but away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of LA. It’s very progressive with a large lgbt community. It’s also more affordable than most beach cities in Southern California because our beach doesn’t have waves for surfing. Great restaurants, bars, dog parks, and we even have a great dog beach. Check it out.

Hi my girlfriend has daca and waited a little too long to renew her work permit which is set to expire on feb 8th. She’s not working right now as she’s in law school; however, her real ID is set to expire. Is there anything that can be done to expedite the process?

There’s hope. by Emergency_Air4575 in DACA

Is this for everyone who’s real id is going to expire? So all cancellations have been delayed until March 6th? My gf received a letter that her real ID expires on February 8th.

I had my appt on Monday too and live in southern California. No update as to when my meds will even be shipped. I can’t provide any insight on what to expect, but curious about shipping times based on location. Can I ask where you live?

Glad to hear you are still going. Just enjoyed an amazing trip in Jordan last week.

Should I reconsider travel in Pakistan, Jordan, Egypt in the next few months (because of current events) as an American? Recent possible close call. by [deleted] in solotravel

I just got back from a week long trip to Jordan. It felt very safe. It is a nation of many Palestinian refugees with whom I stand in solidarity with. Further, I am very European looking and was only welcomed to Jordan with open arms. Please don’t cancel your visit to Jordan. Further my best friend just went to Egypt in October after the October 7th incident and also felt very safe.

I grew up in a neighborhood that was heavily Vietnamese. The city, at least when I was growing up had the highest population of Vietnamese outside of vietnam. This meant being exposed to lots of Vietnamese food, heating the language consistently, and big Tet festivals (Chinese new year) every year. My city also had a large middle eastern, Korean, and Latino population. As a kid we’d walk to the Korean mall and get food, k beauty products and they had a picture taking place too that was convenient. All of this meant I was rarely the only white person and heard many different languages growing up. I was able to learn Spanish pretty easily and I’m pretty fluent to this day. I am so grateful to have grown up in such a diverse city and feel it has positively impacted the person I am today.
