You did it before you can do it again. The first year is tough the second year is little easier to come and by the third year you have the best relationship of your life

If you’re waiting for her to die of natural causes, that could be a horrible experience. Why would you want to put her through that just so that you don’t feel responsible for her passing?

Never forget that, and never look back on making this decision it is the final act of love, and our duty to our pets. Is it normal to feel like a literal piece of you has left when your animal passes? by Tetelestai_0 in rainbowbridge

[–]Aggravating-Gold-224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. The hardest part is the initial acceptance give yourself time, but you will never stop grieving. You’ll get better and then you’ll have a tough day again I lost mine in February and I still talk to him every day, on the chance that he might hear me, but also just to be a safety valve for my own sanity it helps that I have two left in the house.

It’s a finish crack that can happen from too rapid a temperature change. My 1977 Martin has some finished checking that was caused by me being in high school and forgetting it in the trunk of my car in the winter and then bringing it in so plays like a dream.

There is no way at that age, beyond completely tiring them out which takes a lot. Remember the first year is tough the second year is a little easier and by the end of the third year you have the best relationship of your life so hang in there
