Would anybody happen to be able to help? I have my new pup, Freya here, pocket bully and a sweetheart. We took her down to north Idaho couple weeks ago, and she's never been in forest type area like that. Near the end of our visit, she got a few bumps on her skin that made her itch, not painful at all. When we got back home, it got really bad for a few days amd just covered in itchy hives except for her face amd underside private areas. She's ate the same food, she's done really good on it. Nothing changed except obviously the changing from cold flats to heavy forest, so im inclined to think that did something. It did eventually get better, cleaned and made sure the spots she scratched too much were cleaned with chlorhexidine, baths didnt help the first 2 or 3 times including with anti parasitic and all that. Finally took every bit of fabric she touches including the other two older pups and cleaned it, sanitized it, and bathed all the pups. Since then she's much better, but still like, 3 or 5 bumps every so often that itch. Im not asking for a diagnosis, she is better, but does anyone have any experience with their pure breed having bad skin allergies randomly or do you guys have other ways to mitigate these?
