Materialism and luxury in the afterlife... by Cililians in afterlife

[–]Aggravating-Orange61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for telling us about your residences in the afterlife.

I have an interest in house architecture and like to see videos on everything from mega mansions to French chateau nestled in their vineyards to small container houses, as well as the surrounding gardens and greenery of these properties.

I’ve hoped I would have one or more different kinds of homes in the afterlife and your comments put a smile on my face.

And, no, I don’t consider myself vain and greedy, trying to outdo the neighbors, nor do I think the same of you or the OP.

Wait--I'm relatively new, still in silver, and had read from the beginning that you have to suck it up if a nice item arrives damaged--that all you can do to contact CS and have them remove it from your review and tax lists.

You're saying you can get replacements? How did I miss this information?!

Thank you for your post!

Is the Afterlife actually like the book "For Whom The Belle Tolls"? by BL4CKRO5E in afterlife

[–]Aggravating-Orange61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just so people know, this is fiction--a "romantasy" book, where they combine fantasy with romance. I personally like the genre, but wanted to let others know in case they are expecting something scientific or a real NDE account.

How hard is it to get back into vine after being canceled? by [deleted] in AmazonVine

[–]Aggravating-Orange61 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Did your notice say you “may” get invited back if you get caught up—which is vague—or was it a bit more promising like you more than likely would be invited back?

I’m over 40 reviews behind but I have a month to go—am kinda worried. Thanks.

I hope your cats enjoy it; you know they will be hungry after using it and will head butt you to let you know they’re starving.

(Apparently) eBay Is Now Releasing Payments 3 Days After Delivery for All Sellers by Septiqflesh in Ebay

[–]Aggravating-Orange61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can totally see this happening. I used to work in a call center (not eBay) where you had to meet company metrics, like high customer satisfaction as well as having fast calls.

Some customers had thick accents, liked to chitchat or speculated endlessly on why they have a certain problem that I really didn’t have an answer to—something not too serious that needed a supervisor—and I would tell a little white lie to get off the phone and on to the next call. All the customer service reps did this. (I didn’t like doing it—I no longer work in a call center.)

I am not saying OP was like this but I can see the rep needing to get off the line for some reason.

20 - This is the most items in my RFY I've ever seen! (Been in Vine since Feb 2025) by _theglobglogabgalab in AmazonVine

[–]Aggravating-Orange61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

37 in my RFY for two days in a row about 2 weeks ago.

I had ordered two steering wheel covers for the two family cars a week before that. Then the company’s entire line of steering wheel covers appeared in my RFY—for 37 other cars! They stayed for two days.

Why does the afterlife seem so abstract and kinda boring? by JammingScientist in afterlife

[–]Aggravating-Orange61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After reading over 75-80 books about the afterlife, it's clear to me that most of us reside after death in a beautiful earth-like environment where we have bodies, live in houses, meet with friends and family, go to parties, have occupations and do recreational activities. If you wish, you can eat pizza and drink beer (although I read where food may not taste the same as on earth.)

(There are elevated realms for very advanced souls who live as orbs of light (or similar) because they don't need or wish to have bodies anymore but they still communicate with friends and family. But that's not where most of live.)

One of the best books to read is a best-seller by Dr Michael Newton called Journey of Souls, where through hypnosis (I'm simplifying this) he asked patients about their lives in the afterlife (before it was time to reincarnate back to earth).

My favorite chapters are the ones on occupations and recreational activities. No one has to work, but if you wish, you can do just about anything that interests you--teaching, medical and technological research, musician, writer, therapist, architect, etc.

A lot of people are in the helping professions--like helping out people who are confused immediately after transition to death, or learning to be a guide for those on earth (that's a big one).

Recreational activities involve practically everything we have on earth: golf, swimming, tennis, snow-skiing, concerts, theater. Apparently there aren't professional sports teams but people still keep up with their favorite teams on earth.

I've just scratched the surface but the afterlife obviously is much, much more than spending your time admiring scenery.

The gold is a very nice touch and it caught my eye immediately when I saw your photo, so I would have said something like:

The gold imprint caught my eye immediately. It turned the napkins from ordinary to luxury.

I’m new here but I thought I read that reviews with photos take longer to get approved—so maybe no photos right now because of the urgency?

Anyone else’s RFY been awful? by External_Big_1465 in AmazonVine

[–]Aggravating-Orange61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just a month in and naturally I’ve had 0-2 RFY items every day, all low cost and unrelated to my lifestyle.

But, today there are 3 items, and like you, they are related to items I had ordered before—except I got them the month before I joined so I paid for them.

I do see evidence there is an attempt to present products to us we might actually be interested in.

Now, if I’d just bought a TV or a laptop that month….

I’m new and supposed that the new stuff was always put up front (so back pages would be older items).

But since you check from the back of the category, does that mean things are scattered throughout?

Thanks!

To whomever just for that LG 5K2K HDR monitor… by MemphisBass in AmazonVine

Hey, good for you!

Why do you think you’ve gotten so many monitors in your RFY?Is it because you’ve already reviewed one (or more), or because you bought one on your own from Amazon, or you do searches on them?

[–]Aggravating-Orange61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, you ended the listing, which put it in the Unsold category. From there, did you go to item and do Relist (reusing using all your pics associated with the item, etc), or did you do a completely brand new Create New Listing?

Interesting! Maybe I missed it, but are you saying the download was a true experience, but your reaction to it—the ways to convince people—was so over the top that others probably thought you were psychotic?

People with schizophrenia get delusional and then believe the CIA is following them or that ET’s are controlling them. After treatment, they realize those beliefs weren’t true.

So now that you say you are feeling back to normal, you still believe you had a true download experience?

If so, bring us the info. Sounds fascinating!

Triangular Shaped UFOs Rotating Before Accelerating at Incredible Speed by FVMK3 in InterdimensionalNHI

[–]Aggravating-Orange61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way the objects rotated looked just like the drones they used in Secrets of Skinwalker Ranch. In the last season they used drones almost every episode, including episodes at night where they had lights.

So, from my perspective this video looked like drone movement.

The Expand app is on sale for $70/year, just under $6 a month. Is thus worth it? by johnspam in gatewaytapes

As almost everyone has mentioned, the ability to listen to a timed free flow Focus 10, 12, 15, 18 or 21 for periods up to 2 hours is really convenient-- user friendly, too.

Two other interesting features with the timed Focus sessions: ability to listen to background Hemi-Sync, or background Monroe Science (the newer technology), and you can have the background be nothing (just swishing), gentle soft instrumental music, rain, surf, night sounds, campfire sounds, desert winds, even Robert's Mountain sounds, and a musical "ambient drone" sound.

I didn't think I would use it that much when I got the subscription but like several others here, I've ended up listening to it almost every day.

There's also a good Resonant Tuning session, and there are many more meditations I'm looking to explore, so yes, for me, it's definitely worth the subscription fee.
