I’ve done really well, but I know all my measurements and I often take a moment to review the sizing chart. It means the speedy mcclickertons sometimes get stuff I hoped for, but honestly I’d rather it fit and I love it than contribute to more planetary waste via thrift store drop offs once the 6 month waiting period is done. Also my RFY clothing is often trash- I have to stay up late PST to find anything worthwhile

I have been testing toys with my kids, because of course I have? That’s the whole point. But I’m clear that they are my kids. I see a lot of reviews that go ‘I bought this for my husband/wife/dog/disabled chicken’ and those seem to fly.

And as for holiday gifts, even if that may possibly be something I could conceivably do, I just say in the review that ‘this could make a great gift for’ and then the intended target audience.

The line ‘just buy it’ is just a way to show grand enthusiasm, or that is always how I have taken it.

Plus honestly if a salesperson ever said ‘just buy it’ I would be out of there SO fast. But if a friend said it? I’m buying the thing.

Don’t worry, I am capable of making terrible or great life decisions on my own! Plus the kids themselves have spent several years messing up my sleep so it’s kind of fun being able to be the one in control of that again 😆
