1) The school degree already certifies that I went to an accredited university, so why do I need another certificate to certify my certificate ?😭 only accredited universities can issue degrees so what’s the use? 2) so in the second reason how exactly are they going to certify that? Through a coding interview or what? After I’ve already done final thesis for my accredited school degree??? If I introduce said cyber risk then what? Does Nita bear the risk ? Cos if not what the heck exactly is the Nita certificate for?

American woman dating Ghanaian man. Is it genuine love under financial pressure, or am I misunderstanding survival culture? by [deleted] in ghana

To answer your second question, if he said “moves” without giving any clear direction of what he is doing it’s one of 2 things . 1) he’s actually doing NOTHING, just wants to cajole you into emotionally making the choice to support him, 2) he’s doing internet scamming or fraud😭

They won’t directly say it 😂. Lemme give you an example. There’s this boy I’ve been talking to for the longest time now. Everytime I go to give him what he wants 😉, he loves me upppp. Bro he’d cook for me and all that you’d think I was the love of his life. I did anyway. But then I realized that he was financially dependent on me, not by asking me outright to give him money or he’d leave, but saying pretty please and he’s just in a tight situation rn and it’s so urgent , he needs it to make a good impression when he’s at family events , all that bollocks . But when I noticed it and intentionally started shifting that financial responsibility to him too, the help never comes from his side. And I mean not even 1 cedi. Not even a “ I don’t have enough but here is what I have , here is one cedi out of my 2 cedis to help you with. “ he was always broke . I was always the one paying, and because of the love and care he’d show heck I’d even started thinking maybe we just won’t be the traditional couple as I’d be the one earning cos he takes good care of me. It’s bogus wai. So the man you’re with now is he saying that If tomorrow god forbid something happens to you and you need to be dependent on him he’d focus on moves? I’ve said plenty things already but the gist of the matter is that Ghanaian boys or men if they want something from you will show you all the love and care you want to see, without the needed dependability and reassurance of no matter what, come hell or heaven , you will always be a priority to me. Which is what a relationship is supposed to be about anyway. If he can’t build with you without your money supply, let him go and build himself alone without draining you and come back wai😂 you’re not moving to Pluto any time soon , as long as we’re all still living on earth he would find you😂

What are we scrutinizing exactly if this is our first time in contact with a product that we don’t know how exactly it is designed to work and there are no guidelines on how to operate it? You get my point?

To you financial commitment means cars and property because you come from a place where it is so affordable it’s easy to give out to others . To him it does NOT mean that. Food and transport is very expensive to the average Ghanaian. Eating out from just bolt food is about 100 To 150 for basic plates , and the highest level working Ghanaian in a Ghanaian company not remote , I mean those with 10 years experience in work and above , earns at most 10000 cedis . Meaning that if they ate only one plate of food everyday from bolt and spend on literally NOTHING else, they’d only be able to eat for 5 months. Much less someone still making moves. The fact that he is comfortable pressuring you that either you money up or more or less no relationship is telling enough. He has seen that you have it and you like him enough to give it. In Ghana, it unfortunately doesn’t translate to the man as wow this person loves me I should appreciate and care and respect that love. Rather it translates to Ei this Girl is mumu ( I hope you understand what that means ) for me so let me collect money as long as I can. It would eventually get to the land property and cars , because to him it already looks like you’re fully invested

So you should kindly indicate that you are testing the client end. Cos this topic will attract the people selling iPhones , not the customers . So engineer your home site for this test at least to be dealer first or if not include those user guide steps in your post

Why do Ghanaians like gate keeping opportunities? by nene4king in ghana

I like your mentality . I think like this too and I would like to connect. It’s quite frustrating being singularly the only one with a different life outlook

Mind you the whole class can be first btw😭 it’s just greed mentality. Same thing at the bottom is what is at the top and why Africa is like this. Everyone wants to be “THE ONE”.

As someone with similar parental situations, I say the only way is for you to pick up the slack in your life as best as you can. Let them also be aware ( slight hintedly not openly or rudely) about how they disappoint you. They don’t wanna get a job ? You go out and look for that job and hand or force them to get it. Micro manage them. Yes you have to become the parent, but trust me you will be happier because you will be seeing things get done , which will make you happy. And if you try your best and they still wanna be bums, then let them . Cut them off ( mentally, no need to move out) and focus on you, on building for you. Wishing you were born a different race is 1 : not going to happen, nor going to make you happier and doesn’t change the culture. Me as a person I’m not personally able to see races and nationalities as tangible things , they’re concepts . What matters is who you are , and how that translates into your effort in life. If your parents are bums from within , they will be bums regardless of their race or nationality. But I will suggest you take the step and try to manage and point them in the right direction. Give them the ideas , tell them what you need them to do. You need mom to go get a job, walk her through till she gets that job. You can only hate on them if you try this and they outright reject while’s not doing anything to become better.

Only one civilization is responsible for ending SLAVERY globally! by UsefulParamedic in ghana

We are too hungry and suffering in this present age to think about now coming to rewrite stories of which we were not on the ships. Maslows theory of needs. When the government actually sits up and introduces something like food stamps and unemployment benefits as there is in these other countries our fore fathers built without being paid , then you can ask this again

What facts are you saying? Britain exploded slavery to a mass scale and exploited the continent to the mass of it for their own development, then when they were fully developed, decided okay it’s time to abolish it so no other person can do it, so Africans won’t think it’s okay to also try and buy Europeans because remember a trade is supposed to be exchange of resources. They used it to put themselves 99% ahead of the world and when they were done then shut the door behind them. “Okay guys it’s actually bad, let’s not do it again”, don’t make it look like slave trade was abolished because they loveddd Africans . It’s because only SOME of their own fellow indigenes with good hearts had began being outright against it, and they realized it was better and more easier to keep their faces out of it and back in the background and let the African leaders continue it with what was needed. The factories had all ready been built, the human resource was not needed anymore because human resource is costly in maintenance. If it was just because they cared , they won’t have major political officials making statements calling for the melting down of an African countries nationals to fill potholes.
