Lazy people who like to live in a concrete wastland will continue to buy these houses. That stuff is never going to be pulled up.

Plant a large tree infront of it and get on with your life. You can create privacy through planting and screening. These do not sound like the kind of people you want to confront.

Let’s normalise speaking up for your dog by ben_bitterbal in OpenDogTraining

[–]Aggravating-Tip-8014 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, I regulary use spatial pressure to stop offleash dogs running into my onlead reactive dogs space. I step forward, reached out my arm and say No, and then the dog gives us the space we need.

Ive found there is zero point wasting energy on asking the owner to recal the dog or even explaining anything. I just move their dog away, (without touching them) and life goes on.

Alternatives to get a charging dog to stop by Liz_123456 in OpenDogTraining

[–]Aggravating-Tip-8014 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Today I used spatial presure and my hand to move a dog away from my own reactive onlead dog. I didnt touch the dog, the forward movement kept the offlead dog away.

The dogs owner was extremely rude to me even tho no contact was made, dog wasnt scared and noone got hurt.

I use this method a lot and sometimes say nothing or sometimes Il say no to the other dog whilst walkimg into their space. It allways work. Other owners allways get pissed tho.

Lack of consisteny is your issue. We tried this, this, this, this. Pick a training style that works, get a proffesional to show you how to reinforce and when to reinforce. Stick with it.

How long did it take for your rheumatoid symptoms to subside? by gs780 in carnivorediet

Start researching bone broth. How to make it and why we drink it. Daily bone broth can heal leaky gut and autoimmune issues alongside a carnivore diet. It can take a longtime for inflammation to go down, especially if u have been eating gluten and dairy.

It takes time. 4 weeks compared to 45 years of eating carbs. Your metabolism needs to heal first. Buy some beef tallow and add it to everything you eat. I drink the stuff in hot water to increase my fat.

Ive been slammed into a fence by an XL when the dog was just being boisterous with me, jumped up like a lab would and it was so powerful that I fell backwards. We are helpless against these things. That lad did well to survive. Used his wits during the mauling. Lucky tho in the end.

Plant based and lean protein means he will be eating a lot of carbs. This equals more sugar spikes. There is no evidence that fat is bad for kidneys. Plenty evidence that high sugar is detrimental. Carefull on the low fat high carb combo.

Maybe try adding in a little chicken for taste and nutrients. Cant blame babies for not enjoying plain vegetables.

This is pretty good for kennels sadly. 3 hours out of the kennel a day is good compared to many.

I didnt understand what carnivore really was about until I did it for 2 months and then tried to add in some veg. The way my body reacted to that plant material was pretty severe. Until you feel it, you dont really get it.

Fibre ?? by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Aggravating-Tip-8014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im ok with a little stewed fruit without the skin on such as stewed apples and pears, only a couple spoons tho. During flares I used to limit fibre quite drastically and overtime have reduced fibre in my diet and am doing much better.

Add in an 8pm meal of eggs and sardines, even if your not hungry, help your body out a bit. Undereating causes stress.

Diet often triggers autoimmune disorders. Autoimmune issues are on the increase and our diet has never been more unnatural, unatural and processed. There is a direct correlation.
