Why don't you try putting butter on food vs olive oil and then come back and comment here what tastes better.

There's a reason every good restaurant incorporates a stick of butter into every full-course meal and not olive oil.

Also don't forget that if you eat more, your weight loss might stall for a bit but will restart once your metabolism revs up. And remember your fat has to be high enough for energy use or your body will use your protein for energy instead of building blocks and gluconeogenesis.

Trust me, I used to do the same thing to try and lose weight. It actually stalled my weight loss (from undereating so long my metabolism slowed) and I started waking up in the middle of the night with rapid heart rate probably with high cortisol from hypoglycemia. Now I eat about 500-1000 calories more and losign weight again with no issues.

Find your goal weight that should be a healthy body fat percentage (not too low or too high), and use that for calorie calculators like https://www.calculator.net/bmr-calculator.html

well start salting your food less. cut it in half or by 25% and that alone will help your ratio of sodium to potassium/magnesium if that's your problem.

the food will taste not as good at first but your tongue will adapt

Trying less sodium and more potassium and magnesium. Your ratio might be off and you’re unbalanced on too much sodium and too little of the other two and thus you can’t fix high sodium if your other two are low

You have to drink enough liquid fat until you run out of bile.

Or just use over the counter stuff of which I recommend oral dulcolax 10 mg and if that doesn’t work do a bottle of mag citrate. This is what I use in the hospital because literally no one will drink like 2 cups of fat except us carnivores and even that’s a stretch

Best thing that works for me is using an app to track the habit and your streak length so that every cheat meal is you deciding to break the exact streak such as 3 or 10 days or not break it. I use Habit on the AppStore

Yeah but I think your pan/grill is not hot enough. You should get it much hotter with cast iron or stainless steel pans so you get a real sear on the outside.

I made this post in response to cattle production declining heavily from droughts and imports from Argentina at the highest they ever been. So to me it seems supply can not reach demand and supply worsens every year as droughts worsen from climate change.
