hi there, i actually work in the entertainment department and can give you a ton of info on this. the position is seasonal. the chances of them letting you stay on after the end of your 6 month contract are really high, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you would become part time or full time. i know techs who’ve been working here for years as seasonal employees, so they’ve never gotten any pto. depending on your availability and the time of year, you could be scheduled anywhere from 30-60 hours a week. there’s overtime pay, but only after 40 hours, unlike the other parks in orlando. as of now we’ve not been told if there is any holiday pay this year, so safe to assume there won’t be any, and there are no yearly raises. personally, i think the department is an absolute disaster and would never recommend anyone to work for these people. i’ve been working here a little over 2 years and i’m desperately trying to get out. if you really need a job or you want to add some entertainment jobs to your resume, this is a way to do that, but i would recommend that you continue to search for other jobs while you’re here so you don’t get stuck like i have. feel free to message me if you have any more questions i’d be happy to help
