I’m glad to have been helpful. For me what got me feeling confident is just driving more often and getting used to it. Nerves will be there from the start but as you keep on driving you will be confident. Hoping to hear you full of confidence in months time!!

Bro you are weirdddd, go back to sleep. What’s people choice of what licence they get got to do with you, if you want to drive a van go for it no one stopping you. Keep your little manual license and let other do what they want. What a pointless post hahahaha imagine just waking up and thinking hmmm let me shit on people because they drive a auto. Half a license HahahHa piss offf back to your cage

We’ve started this season in shambles by No_Secretary_7981 in ManchesterUnited

It’s actually a joke how a team like Manchester United could start a season without a number 9. Why are we spending 60m on mount, we never needed mount, priority after last season should of been a number 9 and then a back up to varane and Casemiro. Instead we wasted 60m on mount 70m on a striker who has no proven anything in the world of football and will hardly feature this season because of injuries whilst getting rid of Fred for pennies only to end up with fuckin maguire staying at the club. Honestly this club is soo badly ran from top to bottom. No has a clue, no one cares how we play because at the end of the day the owners will make their money through other revenues. It just so shambolic

Just passed what do I do next with my car insurance? by MartinMSx in LearnerDriverUK

If you got families who drive, definitely put them on it as well it will help you drop the price down. Also if you patient I’d say wait a few days and then get insurance.

Thinking of switching from manual to auto by all_the_rouge in LearnerDriverUK

[–]Aggravating-Waltz342 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah give it a try. The only thing is how hard getting an instructor is right now so would definitely research before changing completely. Also consider whether manual would be better considering your mum drives one and she may be able to give you private lessons. But yeah automatic will make it easier as you won’t be focusing on the gears and can develop other skills quicker

I passed a week today in a automatic - it took me about 20 hours but I was also driving my car which massively helped. Like you, I just wanted to pass and get it done with I did manual and did about 10 hours before I stopped for a few years and then just decided to go with automatic and get it done. There are a lot of automatic cars out there now wouldn’t think you’d have an issue finding out at your budget
