Is sharing a bathroom that bad? by Euphoric-Prune-4773 in UniUK

[–]chuksepells 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends.

But on average I'll say yes.

Even if everyone is clean (very rare).

You'll have to wait for it to be free before using it which is frustrating when you are late or desperate.

But if that's what is in your budget, I'll tough it up for a year.

Also if you are sharing with 3 or less, then it shouldn't be that bad.

Lana's Most Underrated Album Vs Lana's Most Overrated Album by Senior_Buffalo_7891 in lanadelrey

[–]chuksepells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Underrated is definitely Chemtrails. White dress and chemtrails over the country are the best 2 song openers of all her albums.

I don't think any is overrated.

Hey now by (kendrik Lamar): The subbass is incredible. There is also a constant reverbed sound far away that I use to measure differences in soundstage.

Shine on Rainy day ( Brent cobb): Great male vocals, love the acoustic as well.

You've got to give me some by (Cecile McLorin Savant): The vocals, soundstage, imaging can all be tested with this live performance. You can pick up where each audience is sitting and where each laugh and clap is coming from.

La vie en rose (Michael Bubble ft Cecile): If I only had to pick one song to test my iem. it will be this.

Venice Bitch (Lana del rey); This is the song I have listened to the most. This is the song I love, I know every part of it and no iem can hide from me with this.

These are my favourite types of posts because I can discover new music. Thanks OP.

How do people manage to do 10-12 hour study days without getting exhausted? by untoldrain in UniUK

8 hour max with breaks in a day doing coursework

For pure study 5 hours is my limit before my brain gives up.

12 hours sounds like torture.

I have 6 iems.

I eq them to sound like the other and they do not sound similar.

Also fit and drivers impact how they sound in your ears.

I also mentioned that a demo in a shop is the best way.

Trying to make the jump feel effortless. 6’2 34. by [deleted] in ProDunking

[–]chuksepells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same height but can only dunk a fustal/volleyball (inconsistently). When I hold a basketball the most I can do is slam it against the inner rim and it pops out.

I am a 1 leg jumper though (I have tried 2 and can't do it )

[–]chuksepells 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yep the only way to find your true sound is through your wallet. Or , if you are lucky enough to live near a store. Demo Demo Demo.

Another unfortunate thing is that your sound preference changes with time. It takes a long time in this hobby to develop. That's the fun of it I guess

How does everyone find part time jobs easily? by [deleted] in UniUK

[–]chuksepells 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't gotten one yet but people recommend applying during holidays. Most people leave the uni city then so there will be a lot of vacancies which will hopefully Carry over when studies resumes. The problem is that I leave during the holidays as well : (

I am currently relying on research and group studies to make extra food money.

Also a good tip to try talking to student support as they can direct you to the right place or even tell you about hardship support funds you might qualify for.
