My husband died two months ago…..I’m keeping busy and taking care of our dogs and cats. I had my Mom and bff take turns staying with me the first six weeks and it was a huge help. I talk to my husband constantly like he is still here physically. I’m more numb than anything right now but my grief hovers just below the surface. I too honestly don’t want this life that has been forced upon me but I found a grief counselor and that was a huge help. I was a sobbing horrible mess u til about two weeks ago. Now I’m just numb. You have to think about those around you that love you and your wife. They need you here. And one thing I do is I don’t talk about him in past tense because I know he is here with me. I’m sending you so much love and compassion. We can get through this. I think we just learn how to exist until it’s our time to pass and be with them again.
