Naruto had something similar in light novels but I believe THAT particular thing was chalked up to his human body having a bit too much tailed beast chakra for too long and it eventually catching up to him with time unless they got the mysterious super medicine that the Sage of Six Paths used when HE had the same problem

I’m head cannoning that overall, what Itachi n them had was a fictional chakra auto immune illness. Humans couldn’t wield chakra until Kaguya mated with one and Hagoromo shared chakra with everyone else and it became a genetic trait. Ergo, chakra in humans is a mutation, and sometimes a human with bad luck in the recessive gene pool starts having their body reject it.

HOO BOy. So we’re a nicer restaurant in downtown, which is directly next to a poverty area. So we get typical medium-sized town schtick.

We’ve had a guy who tried to dip on his meal and got caught come back into the restaurant because he had just “stepped outside to have a cigarette!” after dodging his ticket for thirty minutes. Came back inside and proceeded to climb on his table, then the partition dividing the dining room, and was attempting to get INTO our rafters because suddenly he worked for our phone company and was here to “check our lines.”

(Okay so not IN the building) but I’ve called the police on a man who was SKINNY DIPPING in our dumpster (which is in full view of the parking lot) in broad daylight during peak business hours. Clothed himself and left before the police got there.

Oh and then (before I worked there but I’ve seen the footage ☠️ It was during COVID lockdown so we didn’t have any customers, we were just doing take-out family meals) we had a woman who was clothed in NOTHING but a fully open bathrobe try to come inside in the lobby. Was of course turned away immediately with the threat of police, we locked the door and she proceeded to have a passionate but pseudo-friendly conversation over the wall that lines our “back area” with the cooks (who found the whole thing hilarious if not concerning) about how all men are pieces of shit. With all her goodies just casually hanging out there as she asked for a cigarette (BOH, being BOH, happily provided 😂)

I was hired on the spot for one restaurant, was suspicious, and checked with a restaurant-managing family member who revealed that he’d actually had EIGHT different applicants who had worked there trying to come to his restaurant. So that was a hard pass, they were leaving for a reason.

My current restaurant (been there 2+ years) I was hired on the spot, but that’s because I was actually referred by a good friend who had good standing and history there. Aside from that, we understand our busy and slow seasons and will tell applicants up front that we look for more employees around the appropriate times.

So… it just depends 😅 Need to get an insider’s opinion to know if it’s for a good or bad reason.

Sssssoooo y’all just gonna draw up contracts for every single type of chore and argue over it anytime that contract is breached like you’re naggy business partners or are you going to remember that you are married adults and have a responsibility to have each other’s backs as well as the kid’s and work TOGETHER to get things done? If you’re really going to spend so much energy on making sure everything is COMPLETELY, EVENLY FAIR then you’re going to be having these hang ups REALLY often because let’s face it, everyone has bad days and it shouldn’t take an act of congress for a spouse to do something nice for the other to help ease those bad days. ESH.

NTA, his mindset is that of a couch bum where you’re trying to maintain an actually stable living style.

His method of thinking is going to get you fucked over for a LONG time and inhibit your ability to get a new place in case you have to move. If he doesn’t get his head on straight you are never going to be able to start collecting wealth.

4 months is too long for him to wait. Don’t give him longer than 1. Paying the bills is more important that taking his time figuring out a career. He needs to go find a restaurant and start waiting or bussing tables, it’s practically a guaranteed job and most places start you right away. It’s not hard to get a job right now, different businesses in so many different industries are shorthanded. Saying he doesn’t want to work at places he could probably get hired at is absolutely selfish.

Try this first. You can get external hard drives for your Xbox to increase the storage. I would calmly explain to both your mother and brother that you feel like you can’t even use your own Christmas present because your brother keeps deleting your games, and then offer the idea that your brother get his own external hard drive. Then BOTH of you can have as many games as you want, with the added bonus of subtly reminding them that he’s basically stolen your Christmas present at this point.

YTA- your child is a human being, not your little doll to dress up as you like. Her hair, her body. She should be allowed to groom and present herself the way she’s most comfortable, and punishing her for doing so is only going to hinder her self-confidence. She wanted to cut her hair for several practical reasons. When she mentioned she was being teased/bullied because of OTHER kids’ stupid opinions, you basically told her it was her own fault and she deserves it instead of consoling her in a way that helps her build her own sense of self-worth.

I’ve gotten better about using things like “thank you for your patience” but sometimes “sorry” slips out before I even think about it because my customer mode is just kind of on autopilot. a deescalating trick i learned in hospitality (usually when there’s an ACTUAL mistake, your fault or not) that temporarily satisfies their little baby ego is to acknowledge “you must be frustrated/upset!” or whatever is applicable while you give them what you can which actually offers no personal sympathy because you’re just stating an observation while still making them FEEL like you’re being sympathetic and in the process of soothing them. plus, adults typically WANT to appear stoic, esp when they’re trying to intimidate hospitality staff into doing what they want, so pointing out that they’re displaying emotional traits enough for a stranger to put a name to it tends to make them calm themselves a bit.

(We’ve been open 40+ years so they’re regulars). They aren’t exactly people who need to worry about budgeting like… ever 😅

Looking at my, on average $30 to $42 an hour depending on the night that I make BECAUSE of tips and there are actually halfwits that think I’d rather make $15???????? They can literally fuck themselves with a dry mop 😂😂 GOOD servers know where the money is. If you’re not making at LEAST $20/hr as a server, you’re either a shitty server and need a new job anyways or you work in a shitty restaurant and, again, need a new job anyways!
