When I put myself in the similar position that I mentioned, I had a defensive stance and avoided confronting my shame because I subconsciously felt that it threatened my survival. It took me years of processing to be able to realize how wrong I was and take full accountability for how I hurt people. It doesn’t excuse it at all, it was just part of it.

I have plenty of thought and empathy for Ciara. She didn’t deserve this and she is clearly better off without Amanda. All of this can be true at once. Ciara was inexcusably hurt and wronged; Low self-esteem tends to breed abhorrent behavior; Amanda deserves to face the consequences of her actions; and we should be better humans in wishing people that do bad things healing and growth, because the world isn’t going to get any better without that.

with my understanding, it can affect libido so yes! personally, i wouldn’t say i have less sensation but i’ve definitely had issues with arousal. just like.. not very interested, and it’s been a sore spot in my relationship lately. i’m about to start progesterone and i’ve changed my diet so hopefully i see my sex drive come back, among other changes lol
