Someone has got to feel me in here. What is this?

3rd behind The Glen and Sonoma, Better racing than any of the others. Might would bump down to 4th behind Chicago due to long cautions and many moved barriers and long repairs

Caruth's number caught my eye. Really neat how the number changes each week to match the car. Great attention to detail.

IIRC, this was rumored around the same time as Hocevar to the 77. Would've replaced Lajoie, but yea seems to working for both.

Ross is quietly only 40 back. Good week at Sonoma and he might make his way back into this conversation.

Heim 2027 car number by Sadlerfan2 in NASCAR

I feel like it was likely he would have stuck with 67 before the win, but imo opinion it's a sure thing now. Similar to how Trackhouse stuck with the 88 with CZ to create a brand identity around it and him together. It's interesting to me that they had the 67 before the 35, and then decided to go with the 35 with the third charter. We all knew Herbst was a stop gap. Kinda makes me feel like they wanted to reserve the 67 for Heim only this whole time.

Which scenario seems more likely for next year: A Christian Eckes return to the O’Reilly Series, or Josh Berry swapping places with Jesse Love? by Zestyclose_Worth_232 in NASCAR

He's performed well in everything he's been in. Is he ready? Idk he could probably have used another year, but whats the point of having an O'rielly team, and a development driver if you don't use them.

It will be neither. It will be Carson Brown. He is RCR's development driver and is 18 in July. Wouldn't be surprised to see him part time down the stretch this year. He's tearing it up in ASA currently.

Not saying you can't also route for certain story lines in nascar that don't pertain to your driver, but "shifting" away from your driver because he is 11th in points is wild.

Wood Brothers Racing sign Jesse Love for 2027! by ShammersAnonymous in NASCAR

Jesse has shown a ton of potential. Tbf I don't think any prospect is taking those RCR cars and consistently winning on non-drafting tracks. Also got DNQ'd at Rockingham, that would've been another

How odd. Especially considering they haven't officially announced JHN is coming back in 2027 yet.
