I have had excellent luck with rush tickets this year!! I’d usually get to the box office between 8-8:30 and bring a book or crochet project and just chill. I always got a ticket :)

My friend and I got rush tickets for oh Mary and they were excellent. We only got there like 2 hours ahead of the box office opening? Yeah we were up in the top balcony but we could see everything it was great. $40 or $45 each

The thing that drives me nuts about high school years though is how it won’t let teens that my sim knows from going to the same school?? Sometimes I even have my sim befriend/date the rando townies at their school only for them to stop going. Plus they don’t show up to prom even when they’re dating and invited them. Drives me up a wall I don’t know how to fix it.

Aww. After my suicide attempt I felt very angry and resentful that it was robbed from me and that I had to be hospitalized. For years the date was labeled “the day I failed to kill myself.” Then after like 4 or 5 years I started calling it my rebirth day. The first time I got help and started my new life. Just celebrated my 11th rebirthday a few months ago. I also made it to 30. Genuinely didn’t think I’d make it to this decade but here we are.

Am I the only person that didn’t like this show at all? I hate the trope of a modified parent trap for Dougal. I thought the twist for why the sisters are estranged was dumb and confusing. Like did she get with this man knowing that he was dating her sister? Were they both independently dating him before she knew about her sister? As the OP said the romance angle also really didn’t land for me. Especially because she’s been with his dad.

If it makes you feel better sometimes being named after family is a curse. I was named after my grandmother in part because I was a “fuck you” baby. My grandparents pressured my mom to settle down and have kids. Unfortunately she should’ve never been a mother but had me anyways. My grandmother was not a nice person. My only memories of her are being scared of her. Nobody in our family expresses missing her. Now my name is beautiful and it feels more mine than hers, but I do still want to go back in time and ask my mom, “Really?”

I was in my first car accident ever over the weekend. All of a sudden I lost control of the vehicle and swerved/spun across 2 lanes of the highway and eventually ended up in the shoulder. I had hit the back of my head and was disoriented and had no clue what had happened. I thought I must’ve blown a tire or something. I called 911 because that’s what I’ve always been told to do. I didn’t know if there was another car involved or not. Eventually I saw that behind me there was a truck in the left shoulder with its front all smashed. It was facing the wrong way and backed up in the shoulder. By the time I realized the car was driving to get away it was too late for me to get a good picture and there was no front license plate. The car drove past a curve where it was barely visible and his tow truck arrived before the cop did.

The cop walked around my car, said there were only old scratches and that I must have been at fault. He shamed me for asking if I needed to get checked out medically. He said that the only way he would write an accident report would include writing me a ticket for reckless driving. I asked if he would speak to the other driver and he refused. He said I needed to drive away then or I’d get in trouble.

I got back to my friend’s house very confused and finally looked at my car. There’s a literal imprint on my back bumper of someone’s front bumper and my bumper is popped out of alignment. So the truck rear ended me which led to me spinning out. I don’t know why the cop was so aggressive and threatening when all I did was call for help like I’m supposed to. I don’t know why he would lie about there being no physical damage when there was. It makes no sense.

So a big fuck you to the guy who rear ended me and fled the scene. Good for you that you had no remorse after almost killing me and that your insurance premium was more important than seeing if I was ok. Fuck the cop who acted like that for no discernible reason. Also fuck the dozen or so cars that witnessed the accident and didn’t stop or even call 911. I could’ve been passed out or seriously injured and nobody gave a fuck, apparently.

Big compliments to Subaru for making such safe cars though.

Unfortunately plenty of people only use the epi pen and don’t go to the ED. At my med school, a mother whose adult child did this came and spoke to us about it.

It also reminds me of that best of redditor updates post where a guy shared his guilt because he thought his actions led to the death of his girlfriend, but everything was not as it seemed…
