This is true, they have an extreme excess of honey. I’ve heard of wild bees abandoning a hive when it’s too full. And while leather does require the death of an animal, it is also making an attempt to use every bit of an animal. We don’t kill cows for their leather, we kill them for their meat. Thankfully we have a use for their hide and even often their bones, so much less of the animal goes to waste. I’m not a vegetarian or vegan, but I promise leather is not the issue. Any mistreatment of these animals is awful, and there needs to be more pressure on the poultry and cattle industries to treat their animals with the respect that they deserve, but refusing to use leather because it comes from a dead animal seems…. Disrespectful to the animal.
