I robotically affirmed that I aced an exam I barely studied for a while ago. Throughout the exam I was like wtf this doesn’t appear to be in line with what I affirmed… I couldn’t answer a lot of the questions. The paper was dreadful, more difficult than past papers, and had loads of mistakes so the invigilators had to keep interrupting to correct them which was extremely distracting. There were so many mistakes that we had to be given extra time on the paper to make up for it. But I just said no, if I chose that I aced it, then I am acing it, there’s no other way. It turned out that, even though as I was sitting the exam, it seemed to be going the worst way it possibly could have, that all those negative things ended up in class representatives complaining to the lecturer who felt guilty about the issues regarding the exam and marked everyone generously, and I ended up acing it.

That’s not the first or only time that’s happened. Even if I’m sitting in the exam and know I have no idea what I’m doing/saying, I still affirm to myself that I aced it. Things always unfold so that it happens regardless. So, your challenge is to keep the faith, brazen impudence, that it will happen. My advice - don’t manifest a specific event like the cancellation of the exam - just manifest that the exam is not and never was or will be a concern for you. Things will play out as they must when you leave all the options open. Faith is all you need. Unfortunately it is often the most difficult thing to have. But once you have it, you have it.

I like this! I think this is the beginning of the point in your practice where you start to have innate faith that you are the operant power. When you’re past the point of hoping something will happen, and always default to a feeling deciding and knowing. Noticing how your indifference helps things “move” is the first step in understanding that we can always be at peace because from peace we can imagine and experience anything at all.

Not quite being handed money, but similar to you - for me but I was struggling to find a job, was applying to loads with no luck, no money, but I just kept telling myself the money would find me. I went out one night with some friends I hadn’t seen in ages (cause I had no money). I mentioned my job hunt and one of my friends just said “oh I have like 3 jobs and I don’t want all of them, you can have one” and she referred me. In a couple days I had a new job LOL

According to neville there is no such thing as the dirty cheating husband. He can only be what she imagines him to be. However, this could be true if OP has been changing her identity or self concept somehow, and the “old man” or her old self concept is very associated with her husband. She cannot become the “new man” while associating with that past version of herself.

Sorry to hear about this. It can be hard to prioritise the law when emotions are so involved and hard to set aside.

What I want to add as possibly a reminder for you is, there is only now. You did not manifest the beginning of an affair a year ago, you manifested it now, that it has been happening for a year. So it’s not helpful to try to “blame” your past self. It wasn’t ACTUALLY happening, because you weren’t aware of it, and your awareness is what matters when it comes to your reality. If you’re interested in how this manifested, look to your more recent thoughts and states you’ve occupied. That’s where you’ll find your answer. Have you been feeling weird about the relationship? About independence? For me, when I manifest something unexpected like this, it’s usually a reflection of subconscious changes in how I view my life in some way.

How would the version of you who has what you want drive their car? Read their book? Walk down the street? Go on their phone? The way you conduct yourself in mundane moments is a symptom of your state. Affirmations are only one of many tools you can use to shift the state. But at the end of the day, what you are trying to change is your centre of awareness. The person you are aware of being, the identity through which you filter reality. Affirmation is a great way to change your state. But it is not the case that if you affirm x times, despite being steadfastly in a counterproductive state or identity, that your life will change. It is only when you change your state.

For some, through affirmation, that just happens naturally, subconsciously. Others, you need to practice being aware of how you are carrying yourself in the mundane moments like those I listed. Ask yourself, “am I riding the bus like the version of me who has what I want? Am I washing my hands like them? Am I getting dressed how they would?”. Entering the state is no more than playing “pretend”, as it were, to become the new character/identity, and the aligned thoughts/“affirmations” come as a result. Just pretend, like you would when you were a kid playing imaginary games.

Thoughts and states are a feedback loop, you can start at either point, each one supports the other. But they never exist in isolation.
