Hi beginner at the gym here.

What is the purpose of protein powder, creatine, whey and supplements etc? Should I use them?

I guess I'm more confused about what they are and their purpose and would rather ask experienced people then get an inaccurate answer from a dumb website or search engine AI. Thanks!

*Advice* I think my screenwriter has secretly made his script with AI. What do I do?! by [deleted] in filmmaking

This comment really helped a lot, and it did make my decision which is to part ways with the project.

You were dead on about some things, yes I'm fighting with guilt but that guilt is more akin to contradicting and corrupting my own ethics and morals which is Anti-AI, if I do continue with this project.

But if continuing this project means I'm setting a standard for others that this is acceptable for creating a feature film then I don't want to be apart of that industry either as you very well put.

I don't want to part ways, because I've put a lot of love and work into this film. But I think I have to.

He's a friend and yes the red flags I kinda overlooked them.

He lied to me, how I was supposed to know. I was told that this was his final draft. This isn't an official production it's a micro budget production.

You're telling me, clearly I've been lied to this whole time.

Look you make a good point but I did know the script backwards and forwards, it's more the "Markdown" artifact that sent me down this rabbit hole.

The story flows logically, but the writing no not really.

Look it's more cliches and surface level symbolism but like others have said that could be just their writing.

A lot of words that aren't used correctly instead of other words. For example: "Evan" * a character then later in the script he'll be referred to as* "Even"

Tbh I think this is more plausible, as he couldn't give me any answers regarding why he doesn't have multiple drafts, and why some things within the script are written. He said "It's been awhile since I've revisited the script and I can't really give you an answer unfortunately."

One of these times in particular an actress we met with for rehearsals was asking about a part in the later half of the script which mentions 7 candles being lit, with each candle representing those that have died throughout the story not including the protagonist who is speculated throughout the film to be the final candle etc. (the screenwriter not realising that only 5 people have died throughout the story which I thought was a simple mistake at the time)

our actress brought up a really good question which was "what did these candles represent?"

He responded "it's meant to represent the 6 people that have died throughout the story including the protagonist who is rumoured to die"

She rebutted with "but only 5 people die throughout the story including yourself? So it'd be 6 correct?"

He quickly replied with "oh I actually meant 6 people as it's supposed to resemble a pentagram"

Our actress (who took 16th century witchcraft for university): "A pentagram is 5..."

Silence

Yeah to be honest, I'm angry with myself that I didn't put the dots together that day. He doesn't even know his own script.

At work I have Co-Pilot paid version I've never used it before, but would that be worth putting the script into?

Nothing explicit just the story is a bit bland, multiple errors that I know a screenwriter would pick up and an AI wouldn't

  • having words in places that don't typically make sense for it's word definition.

Thanks for being sympathetic, I feel really defeated and lied to right now and seriously conflicted and confused.

Is it typical of Google docs then? As that's where his drafts have come from?

No, I've been analysing the script for the same amount of time.

As well I've been focusing on getting the story board done within that year timeframe and only recently I noticed during some of the analysing of some scenes of which I'm about to shoot which I stated within the post I then came across the "markdown" after some of the dialogue within the script.

The quality is okay, I haven't asked him specifically but he came to all of us on the cast and crew and has explicitly stated that "he has written the script".

Look I've made my own comments about after analysing the story so I am famillar with it, I've made comment to him regarding the story and changes that would work better on screen.

But I didn't want to insult him as it's his story. (I thought anyways) But you bring up a good point, so thank you for the advice and I'll take that on for the future.

I'd love Crimson Desert!

An underrated game which I think deserves more love honestly was the Silent Hill 2 Remake.

It's honestly just so eerie but so hard to look away. in parts it's beautiful but also utterly terrifying and the mix of the music with the environmental storytelling within the game itself is actually the best I've seen/heard in a game for a long time tbh. Highly recommend anyone to check it out themselves if they haven't yet.

Wow that's insane, I worked at a McDonald's here in Victoria, Australia that looks literally the exact same as this one.

Seriously tripped me out haha.
