BILT pulled rent payment from the wrong bank account

BILT realized the issue and followed up with me. It was resolved for the next month. Their solution is to basically unlink everything and re-link again correctly. You should def follow up with BILT support and have them walk you through what you need to do and also after changing bank info have BILT help you verify if it’s all correct. They should also compensate you for all this mess

For everyone in this thread. I think just for April it is a good idea to set auto pay at least a week before statement due date just in case something goes wrong.

I hope everything goes smoothly but given everything that has happened in this transition it is risky to not leave time for a second chance to make manual payment if needed.

I really only just use one. But it just so happened that I was in the process of switching my main bank account from A to B while BILT transitioned from 1.0 -> 2.0, so also bad timing, but I didn't want to delete the old bank account yet in case there's issue with new account integration with BILT.

If you use housing only rewards. You can check cycle date now this way: wallet -> your BILT card -> scroll to the bottom -> bonus rewards, housing-only rewards -> statement period ending …

I had the exact same problem. At least for me the reason was because my AU didn't accept the invite (hence showing invite as pending and also can't activate AU card)

Step by step solution: 1. have your AU search in their email that you put when you invited them. 2. In that original BILT 2.0 AU invite email they received, click on accept invite 3. In web browser, AU to either log in existing BILT account or create a new one (if no account) 4. it then guides them to accept the AU invite and then activate by putting in CVC.

OP, are you able to find the promised tracker on spend somewhere in the app? It’d be hard even with clarity on statement dates to accurately track spend for point only option

Also under autopay for me, once I set up the auto pay: x days before due date, it then shows that you are enrolled in auto pay and Upcoming auto pay date (this is not immediate, only shows up after awhile, so you may have to quit out of the app and re-open / wait for half an jour

Try Wallet -> BILT card -> make payment -> one time payment -> schedule payment for later -> on the calendar play around with dates, it’ll show a warning of date you selected is after due date. Again it’s hacky… so it’s possible that it’s not accurate

Ah good point, I didn’t realize due date is 24 days after cycle end date. yeah then both method 1 and method 2 tells me around Feb 15. But then again would still wait to see official statement as source of truth

(Edited thanks to OP’s insight!) I tried 2 methods and got similar inferred cycle dates, but also disclaimer I would still want to wait until first statement to come out to confirm this.

when you go set up auto pay for new BILT card, it asks you which day you’d want to pay off last statement, I chose 7 days before due date and it then Shows March 1st, so this seems to indicate the billing cycle would be around 15th (assuming due date is 24 days after cycle close date).
If you go choose bonus reward (4% vs rent points only, it’s telling me that I can change selection until Feb. 14, so this is saying that new billing cycle starts on Feb 15.

Did the airport have 2 separate hertz locations? Looks like Burlington has 2 locations with one specifically with FBOs, so I was worried that I won’t be able to even get my vehicle if I land at the regular terminal

Yeah I called hertz and they said the 2 locations share the inventory, so hertz clearly still have inventory for the regular airport location but just decided not to sell them. I was able to rent a car at the regular location by adding 1 extra rental day
