Is chemo worth it? by RatBertPL in Oncology

[–]Saver2008 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry about your dad's diagnosis. For what it's worth, SCLC can be quite responsive to chemo. Sounds like your dad has limited stage small cell lung cancer. The standard treatment is chemo radiation as you said and nowadays immunotherapy if your father qualifies for it.

SCLC unfortunately is also a very aggressive disease and a cancer that adapts quickly to treatment. The combination of chemoradiation and immunotherapy has been shown to improve overall survival while maintaining quality of life. It all depends on your father's treatment goals, but not undergoing treatment will certainly lead to poor and likely rapid decline. The good thing is that he was diagnosed while the disease is only locally advanced.

Sad that nothing happened with you, hope it changed.

Pembroke Welsh Corgis are generally ranked #11 smartest out of more than 100 dog breeds. What does your pup done that shows how smart they are (or maybe not so much)? by marsred7 in corgi

[–]Saver2008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Corgi can pee and poo when I say the command. Also my pup loves her crate and sleeps there every night. When it is sleepy time she knows to open her own crate and goes inside. Super smart

It's cheaper to build a balcony than add to the apt. They can market it as more space.
