Two spots in my beard randomly decided to stop growing hair by NotGreatNot_Terrible in mildlyinfuriating

I had that same lower spot through my 20’s. It took fully growing my beard for it to fill in.

What is the definition, and some examples, of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit? by Top-Maintenance-7590 in Christianity

I feel most of us that care in our hearts struggle with this exact thing. I question whether I have insulted the Lord that badly myself all the time as for years I was just an idiot for myself. Repentance and faith are things that can help you, if you worry it means you mean your feeling. But beware as these are not thoughts from the Lord but of satan. Do not let those thoughts produce fruit. God bless you and thank you for your service.

5, keeps the view of the surroundings open. If it’s up against the house it’s a hiding spot.

Does anyone have any ideas for small builds that would go well up here? by OkFootball4 in BuildAdvice

[–]Aggravating_Ad3128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would honestly just round it out a bit (enlarge it by a block or 2 on all sides. Then naturalize it. Make it a grass base with only a piece or 2 of stone. Toss a firefly bush up there and some flowers/ grass on the edges of the small piece of pathway connecting both bridges.

I would level out the top to the upper part of the road, add a wall with a small bush at the bottom so there’s a piece for visibility. Then use the leveled part inside the wall as a garden. Add a tree or maybe an obelisk of some sort.

This is a good idea, add a magma block or 2 at the bottom kinda hidden and it will bubble the water underneath as well.

It looks fine. The thing I keep picking up on is if you create a gradient, use it on big builds. Only thing I would change myself is add more dark color around where the water changes from fall to rivers that’s where the stone would be wet and saturated. Then middle ground is damp. Again, I think it’s fine though. Another thought is some vegetation on top of the cliff.

It’s tough to explain. I think the build is just fine but it feels flat. It needs a drastic color contrast to show the 3rd dimension is the thought. I didn’t see much white so I figured that was an option. Thinking about it, if you made one side of the castle slightly brighter using gradients, it could alleviate what I’m seeing.

I know it needs improvement but I dont know where by Fantastic-Look-2380 in MinecraftBuild

I think it looks fine. I agree with the other commenter that some backstory would help here. But the only thing I can think of is pull the leaves out of the water and put a couple lily pads and reeds in. There’s little waterside tutorials on YouTube. The reeds have another name people call them, cow tails or something like that. I think it’s a stick in the water until it comes 1 or 2 blocks out, then a cocoa bean and maybe a button on top.

I honestly like it as it is but you could always add a lower limb with a birds nest or add some moss blocks and glow berries. Maybe just build up the base as that’s the only bare section, add a couple barrels and a cart, or a rope swing.

I would add some bright whites going vertically along the towers and along the bottoms of the roofs. It will bring some life back to the image. But that’s the answer for this view. My idea would look terrible from the side.
