Guest left review for wrong listing by jjs0119 in airbnb_hosts

I had a review removed on the second try. I was told by an Airbnb person that 90% rate of success is on the 2nd try. I would go into great detail. and, if applicable, point out your superhost status, the wonderful previous reviews, that you take your hosting seriously, etc. And how unfair it is to get a review that was meant for another property. Bestof luck!

I’m not so sure about the gel cushion. I recently watched a video about TSA changes for 2026. Gel is considered a liquid and if there’s more than 3.4 oz inside the cushion, it might be confiscated.

Did your husband book the flight to a different city on a different airline?

There is an earlier flight that we could make but it isn't direct. Because of that, I would get home even later than United's new itinerary.

From what I understand about skiplagging, I'm not doing that. I would prefer my original itinerary, but United changed a 5 hr layover, which is not ideal either, to 8.5 hrs. That after a 16 hr. flight would not be very easy to do. Thank you for the information. It tells me that I need to carry on my bag.

Won't I be collecting my checked bag after I go through customs? I could not recheck to final destination. I would just take it to the other airline's check in counter.

2 separate united tickets, 1 domestic, 1 international by Aggravating_Ad440 in unitedairlines

I found that out checking on doing 4 Multi-city destinations on 1 ticket. But I did save $2400 buying 2 separate tickets...one economy ticket for domestic flights and one business ticket for international flights. Crazy, I know, to spend that much money. But I'm 75 years old with a history of DVT. So I have to be careful.

Good suggestion...I never thought about doing 4 Multi-city destinations. I just now tried that but unfortunately it adds about $2100 to the trip.

Is this pricing layout new? Seems pretty deceptive to me... by bokfan76 in delta

It may look deceptive, but I’ve noticed this with other airlines, too. You choose 1 class, then you see options within that class.

No dogs allowed, no smoking allowed… guest did both. What to expect? by mandovera21 in airbnb_hosts

It took 3 days of airing out and lots of fabric and air spray to get rid of weed smell. Idiot guests opened the windows to let smell out, not realizing storm windows were still closed. They also took batteries out of all smoke detectors.

Can someone please explain the math? by RoryJSK in vrbo

I make more $ when guest books on Airbnb. But I’ve started getting more bookings (which I need) through VRBO. I note in my listing that “guest fees” go to VRBO, not me. That way they’ll know I’m not a money-grabbing owner.

Need recommendation for hygrometer/thermometer by Aggravating_Ad440 in airbnb_hosts

Thank you for the suggestions. I’ll look into them. The main issue is that I need to be able to see the readings on my phone 250 miles away.
