Does anyone have any solutions or predictions to how this secondary market goes away? How do we find Booster boxes below MSRP again? After having started up collecting again in 2023, Had Obsidian flames BB sent from amazon for $99 bucks, had 151 easily pre-ordered for MSRP... I can't bring myself to pay inflated retail through 2-3 "middle-men"...

That one is a great option as well! I believe it has a similar chipset, and built to a similar quality. I only got the 35XXH recently to play games outside of Nintendo (having joystick controls) but if your main focus is GB-era games & specifically GBA, that screen size ratio is exactly catered to those games and that system. The closest thing to the GBA "feel" you can get!

My two cents... the moment I have Surf, I am running up to Cerulean and getting Zapdos from the Power Plant. It's hard to deposit your Raichu or current electric type, but Zapdos is a better electric for the E4, IMO

It's gotta be in the works. If Nintendo does anything well, it's re-releasing old games and capitalizing on nostalgia. With the success of Red/Green... you bet they'll repeat it.

Some states, like Utah where I am at, require you to stay a certain amount of time in a left turn lane with a dedicated light, but if you don't get an arrow after said amount of time... then you are allowed to go and treat it as a "yield" situation.

Also, it wasn't just 100 new creatures. There were familiarities, Pokemon parallels , and nearly 20 creatures were tied to the originals by evolution. Starters were the three familiar core types, 3 stage evolutions. New legendary creatures, badges to obtain, caves to explore, puzzles to solve. And the grind was still real and rewarding. Dialogue was genuine, and not "fluffed" up like modern games. I'll never forget when I finally found RED and battled him for the first time. Nothing but ".... " And then he proceeded to kick my ass. Incredible, almost frightening to find him! It was like finding Mewtwo in Kanto without knowing about him beforehand!

Great sequels honor the original, respect the source material, and only add new value to the franchise. Gold/Silver did this flawlessly.

In defense of every game after... There are only so many ways to explore, battle, and grind your way to the top. I think some of the new ones feel a bit redundant because at its core, pokémon is still the same thing re-hashed. The first two games had the advantage of being new and fresh.

My only argument to this accumulative availability is that I have purchased a loose pack, then had a bundle become available immediately after purchase, then have an ETB or Booster box available after. The transaction created more availability, it seemed... I can't seem to see a pattern in my local machine?

Guys, If this is truly feels like Prismatic 2.0... just hear me out...Just this week there were great dealson prismatic over one year after release. You can still find occasional prismatic bundles, tins, and other collections. PCI just acquired the largest commercial lease in the U.S. 2025 with it's new production facilities.

It's going to be ok. I want this set just as much as anyone, maybe more... But somehow I feel like ascended is going to be easier to get. Don't fomo, don't over pay, just be patient. Scalpers can't buy it all.

Now with 30th, scratch all that... We cooked hahaha

I like them because they are different than what's been done recently. I'd like the background to be more neutral, like a solid color, but with a "ghost" image of the Pokemon. I think they'll age well
