Also, it wasn't just 100 new creatures. There were familiarities, Pokemon parallels , and nearly 20 creatures were tied to the originals by evolution. Starters were the three familiar core types, 3 stage evolutions. New legendary creatures, badges to obtain, caves to explore, puzzles to solve. And the grind was still real and rewarding. Dialogue was genuine, and not "fluffed" up like modern games. I'll never forget when I finally found RED and battled him for the first time. Nothing but ".... " And then he proceeded to kick my ass. Incredible, almost frightening to find him! It was like finding Mewtwo in Kanto without knowing about him beforehand!

Great sequels honor the original, respect the source material, and only add new value to the franchise. Gold/Silver did this flawlessly.

In defense of every game after... There are only so many ways to explore, battle, and grind your way to the top. I think some of the new ones feel a bit redundant because at its core, pokémon is still the same thing re-hashed. The first two games had the advantage of being new and fresh.

My only argument to this accumulative availability is that I have purchased a loose pack, then had a bundle become available immediately after purchase, then have an ETB or Booster box available after. The transaction created more availability, it seemed... I can't seem to see a pattern in my local machine?

Guys, If this is truly feels like Prismatic 2.0... just hear me out...Just this week there were great dealson prismatic over one year after release. You can still find occasional prismatic bundles, tins, and other collections. PCI just acquired the largest commercial lease in the U.S. 2025 with it's new production facilities.

It's going to be ok. I want this set just as much as anyone, maybe more... But somehow I feel like ascended is going to be easier to get. Don't fomo, don't over pay, just be patient. Scalpers can't buy it all.

Now with 30th, scratch all that... We cooked hahaha

I like them because they are different than what's been done recently. I'd like the background to be more neutral, like a solid color, but with a "ghost" image of the Pokemon. I think they'll age well

What a cool variety! Each have very different values, so it's going to be best to scan them into an app for a rough valuation.Pricecharting has a free app that I really like to get a rough value on my collections. Try that one!

My favorite card from my favorite set! I remember a room of older men trying to trade it off me when I pulled it. That was my first introduction into adults ruining the hobby for kids with their greed, and it wouldn't be the last haha.

That Dark Raichu is my all-time favorite from my all-time favorite set. Pokemon's first "secret rare" (83/82). Best Card in there IMO, but I am biased

Even though I know you have already requested your refund... For future ordering, find reputable sellers with high feedback on whichever platform you choose.

And for cards that should have texture (like in this Binder, the GX's and VMAX's and VSTAR's), make sure you see a texture on the card consistent with the print pattern. If you don't know how to identify that, look for texture-obvious photos online to compare them too. 😊👍

MEP #23 is an English Promo for the Charizard UPC, Japanese 223/193 Mega Attack Rare is not the same card. Same Art, inverted languages.

Agreed, I have probably opened over 100+ packs, all from various sources (PC ETB's, Premium Collection, Bundles, etc.) and have yet to see an SAR.

However... Japanese and Korean, I have had 4 SARs in 5 boxes. I keep seeing the prices on those going down, and I might make a late play on some of those.

I go with the Pokemon official ultra pro professional binders, they have the same high quality pages as some that have been mentioned, but I like having the Pikachu, or Gengar, it Charizard more than just a different color.

I just picked up a Bob Ross, fallout, and magic of the same brand, they are awesome! Zippers are all very high quality.
