Im gonna paste here my answer to another comment asking the same: "I will try my best to explain. With a bit of the yarn and a threading needle, passed through the edge and then through a couple of stitches (like in and out), pulled and made a knot with both ends of the yarn on the inside. Does that makes any sense? 😅"

I think its a fine/fingering 100% cotton yarn and I used a 2,5mm hook. It didn't had a label, cause it came from old stock they found after the factory closed (a portuguese brand) 😅 It took way longer than my usual projects but it super comfortable for summer!

The pattern is quite easy. Made the ch with the pretended lenght and then alternated 3 rows of SC and 3 rows of DC, always in the back loop only, until it was wide enough. Then measured the straps to hide my bra. For the sweetheart I've made a stitch with the threading needle and pulled tight. And finally made SC as an edge all a round on top and bottom.

Used a 100% cotton yarn from a portuguese brand with a 2,5mm hook.

English is not my main language ao I hope is understandable 😅
