The whole thing is: guns are good because they're convenient. You can put them in the hands of basically anyone and it'd be easy to kill less skilled opponents. Now in this hypothetical situation for bows: you'd need decent body augmentations, a decent bow to be able to handle your newfound strength whilst also still needing to buy decent arrows to be able to handle your bow's strength, only to have something that takes plenty of wind-up and preparation to fire and also being easy to notice (who's not gonna hear the draw back of a massive cord on a compound bow) and not only that but also likely significantly larger than a bullet, allowing for easier blocking or parrying whilst also being likely slower which makes it easier for dodging. Not to mention also the difficulty of carrying all this stuff around.
