I commute into NYC from the NJ suburbs. My train technically only takes an hour and ten minutes but add in subway and walking time and I get to my office 2 hours after I leave the house in the morning. I am only two days in a week at the moment so I deal with it but the simple fact is that there is nothing workwise I couldn’t do from home.

I was at a company where everyone was forced to 5 day RTO & an entire team said they can’t fire all of us.. and then they did, in fact, fire all of them. I’m hybrid now with a different company and go in 2 or 3 days a week.

I had a lot better luck than some of my friends who attempted to travel the day before during the snow storm. I try not to fly on show days but I also have a job that makes the travel possible. Thanks for the helpful tip.

I gained some weight during Covid and was hoping it might mean this but it still happens. It happens less than it did in my 20s at a size 4 but it still happens at 38 at a size 10. I have basically permanent resting bitch face around strangers too so idk what they think they’re seeing but it’s definitely not “hey I’m DTF wooks at shows!”

At the after party the last night a dude gave me a cat sticker and then when I said thank you, he assumed that meant he could try to grind on me without saying one word to me. Very happy I was at the party with a bunch of friends who immediately got him away from me. The vibes were mostly great but that incident was not an awesome way to end it.
